will i still be able to get my wife pregnant ## i take 500mg of valporate sodium 1 nightly and 5mg of olanzapine 1 nightly will i still be able to get my wife pregnant ## Hi, Pete! These medications haven't been known to cause any issues with men and their sperm count, so there shouldn't be any problem. Most problems arise when the woman is taking a medication and trying to conceive, since many of them can affect their hormone levels and ovulation. Good luck! Are there any other questions or concerns?

side effects ## Valprine is a simple mispelling for Valparin. Valparin (also referred to as sodium valproate or valproic acid) is an antiepileptic / anticonvulsant medication. This medication is most commonly known for treating seizures, migraine headaches and bipolar disorder. Valparin has also been evaluated for the treatment of AIDS and cancer, due to its histone deacetylase-inhibiting effects. On the flip side, Valparin does have a lot of potential side effects: which can be viewed at: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMHT0012594/?report=details#side_effects Hope this info helps!

CAN I USE THIS PILL INSTEAD OR AS RISPERIDONE? ## This tablet contains 500mgs of Divalproex Sodium, also known by the name Valproate Semisodium, it is an anticonvulsant that also works as a mood stabilizer. But no, it is not comparable to or interchangeable with Risperidone, which is an antipsychotic that is used to treat various mental health disorders. Have you consulted your doctor? Have they advised you to make the switch?
