urinary tract irritation-navy blue capsule ## I need some information about this drug..I was given samples today for a urinary problem... ## What else is on the capsule, letters and/or numbers? ## I was able to find this capsule. It is called UTA or Urinary Tract Antiseptic. It has Hyoscyamine 0.12mg, Methenamine 120mg, Methylene Blue 10mg, Phenyl Salicylate 36 mg, and Sodium Phosphate 40.8mg. Lots of ingredients huh? Anyway...it does several things. It serves as an antibiotic for infection, has a component of pain medication in it, consists of a muscle relaxer to relax the bladder muscles and regulates urine flow. It is relatively new from what I could tell. It sounds like it is the perfect solution to a UTI. ## It makes your pee some kind of neon-green hue. If you have a roommate, it&...

blue capsule ## How long can these capsules be taken? ## HOW LONG CAN YOU TAKE STEW JACK & WHAT ARE THE CONTRIDICTIONS ? ## To add some information for other viewers.... Stew Jack is a dye that's used to change the color of your urine, it can help let you know when you pass kidney stones. However, I haven't been able to find any other information on it, such as how long you can take it or any other details. Does anyone else know more?

I just need to know if I can take fluconazole at the same time as my UTA capsules. Its thanksgiving weekend and my usual pharmacy is closed and so is the doctors office. Any help would be great, thanks. ## Hi Moonbeam, I know you posted this on Saturday so you may have already found an answer, but from what I was able to gather there are no drug interactions found between Fluconazole and UTA (hyoscyamine/methenamine/methylene blue/phenyl salicylate). This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. I hope this helps! ## Thank you David.
