Side effects include: Diarrhea, constipation, upset stomach, indigestion, dizziness, vomiting, cough, sore throat, runny nose, back pain, muscle and joint pain, hair loss. Uncommon side effects include: Frequent urination or pain when you urinate, cough with fever. i am 35 weeks preganant and i have extreme itching problem. my syrum bile acid are beyond the limit and very high. doctor prescribed me Urcocol SR 450mg. is it safe for me. ## This contains Ursodeoxycholic Acid and, while it hasn't actually been studied and approved for use in pregnancy, it has so far been shown to be the only medication to successfully treat this type of condition and fetal damage hasn't been known to occur. i am suffering from hepatitis a which is drug infused, i have been taking ursocol 300 from last 11 days but from last 2 days after having the ursocol 300 i am having short of breath what should i do? ## Ursocol contains the active ingredient Ursodeoxycholic Acid.
