Hey! I'm just a little concerned because i am anemic and have been bleeding down there for almost a year now. The doctors have given me Cyklokapron. I'm not gonna lie i have missed taking it a few times. I also was prescribed ferrograd iron supplements and i'm still bleeding. I read about "NOT TAKING Cyklokapron if... etc" - One of them said if you have irregular rapid heartbeats & If you're on hormone birth control. I have a problem of heavy bleeding, my doctor referred me to a Gynecologist. He started me on Tranexamic acid to take only when I'm on my period. Gyn prescribed primolut and tranexamic acid to start on day one of my period to increase blood count before myomectomy on the 23rd of October. ## Hello, Susan! How are you? How low was your blood count? These should lessen how much you bleed on your period, if you bleed, at all. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.

I was 6 weeks pregnant and had a miscarriage. Since then I have been seeing clumps of blood dropping. My doctor now prescribed primulot N along with tranexamic acid. Can this combination work together? ## I'm taking tranexamic acid for heavy bleeding. It reduced my bleeding to spotting now so my doc prescribed primulot-n. how does tranexamic affect menstruation ? does it hamper the flow? ## i want to know what are the contra indication for tranexamic? ## Tranexamic Acid, to put it simply, helps your clotting factor, to help stop excessive bleeding. It is used to treat various conditions, such as heavy menstrual bleeding, hemophilia and surgical wounds.
