Teva Metformin Hcl Tab500mg
what is teva metformin hcl tablets used for ## Hi mook, Metformin is an oral anti-diabetic drug in the biguanide class. It is used alone or with other medications, including insulin, to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and, therefore, cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood). Metformin helps to control the amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood. It decreases the amount of glucose you absorb from your food and the amount of glucose made by your liver. Metformin also increases your body's response to insulin, a natural substance that controls the amount of glucose in the blood. You can view a detailed description of the drug by clicking on the link below... I hope this helps! ...

It doesn't have the taste of usual tablet made by APOT. ## my metformin by teva smells and taste like a dead mouse, ## I had the dead mouse and the major fish. I stopped because of stomach pain from the chinese manu that seemed to win all the local contracts. High A1C as a result of these games. ## To clear up some things asked about or mentioned in these posts… No, it is not safe to cut any tablet that is time released, as denoted by the ER in the first post. Doing say may result in your getting too much of the medication, at once, which could lead to overdose. However, the tablet made by Teva with the 93 48 marking is not a time release... ...

Metformin Er 750
Just got my Metformin ER 750 refilled. The pills look different... could be different manufacturer? One has 93 on one side and 7212 on the other. The other has 143 stamped on one side and nothing I can see on the other side. Help? ## Yes, they are both the same medication, a controlled release formulation of Metformin in a 750mg dosage. The one with the 93 is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and the 143 is manufactured by Sun Pharmaceuticals. It is common for the pharmacy to switch which generic they supply, depending on which company was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. It's how they keep their prices as low as possible for customers without insurance. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I was prescribed with CLOPIDOGREL -PLAGERINE 7... ...

Need to find in Utica, Sterling Hts , MI 48314 area. ## Have you tried asking any of your local pharmacies if they can order it in for you? From what I have found, they still list the 500mg, 850mg and 1000mg as being available. A pharmacy should be able to order it in for you and you, or your insurance would just have to pay for it. They are located in Macomb Twp, MI on Romeo Plank south of 21 mile. I don't have their phone no as I just switched phones, there also may be another St John Pharmacy located closer to you. Many companies just manage to keep you from smelling it by putting a coating on the tablets, so the smell never reaches your nostrils. In this case, these pills may not have the coating or it may not be as thick as normal. Are there any other questions or comments? ...
