cefixime tergecef for kids with atypical pneumonia?
my 3 yrs.old daughter was seen thru her xray and cbc with atypical pneumonia she was given 2.5 ml of tergecef for 2x a day.we are not yet advised to be admitted to the hospital if she will not have a fever.i'm just worried are we safe at home or should we admit her already she has been vomitting clear phlegm was it a good sign that tergecef is working? thank you. ...

Cefuroxime can cause resistance to antibiotic
My 9 month old baby was confined in the hosp for about 4days and diagnosed to have moderate risk pneumonia triggered by asthma.he was injected with cefuroxime and hydrocortizone ,are these meds safe for my baby? Right now am giving him tergecef cefixime 20mg/ml 2ml 2x daily for 5days.and i learned from my friend that there was a memo distributed to pharmacies to hold cefu meds because it can develop resistance to antibiotics.how true ? Pls advs am very much worried...thanks ...

Montelukast (Kastair)
I have a 9 month old baby boy who weighs 10.5 kg. He had his first asthma attack since he was on his 6th. Monthly he would had his attacks. His pediatrician prescribed him 1 nebule Salbutamol (Ventolin) and 1/2 nebule Budesonide (Asmavent) every 4 hours, Prednisone (Prolix) 2.5ml 2x a day, Pocaterol HCl (Meptin) 2.5ml 3x a day and Cefixime (Tergecef) 1.5ml 2x a day. Then I went on a second opinion pediatrician, she prescribed Ceterizine (Allerkid) 1ml before bedtime, Salbutamol-Ipratropium (Duavent) 1 nebule for every 6 hours, Erythromycin (ilosone) 2ml 3x a day and Montelukast (Kastair) 1 tablet before bedtime. I had a neighbor whose her baby is taking Montelukast for almost 2 years now. She said his son had no longer attacks. My question is, is it okay for my baby that I will give him... ...

Is Tergecef safe for pet dogs?
Hi i would like to know if tergecef 400 mg.taken for my dog once a day is okay.He was diagnosed with Transmitted Venereal Tumor 3 years ago and his medication was only cefalixine.For years,i had to stop this medication for intermittent periods of time since i am aware that prolong use might do harm and opted for antioxidants,but recently i talked to a niece who told me that he uses tergecef on her dog of the same ailment and it was cured.No more discharge of blood on his penis.
