Telmisartan 40 Mg And 80

I am advised by doctor to take 80 mg telmisartan + 5mg amlodipine for hypertension. But due to unavailability of 80 mg telmisartan I was advised to take 40mg telmisartan+ 5 mg amlodipine morning and 40 mg telmisartan at evening. After taking split dose of telmisartan 40 mg morning and evening I am feeling strange and anxious and unable to sleep smoothly following two three days. What may be the problem?

I want brand name of combonation of Telmisartan 80 mg + Metoprolol 25 mg ## I want to know the brand name of the following drug combination: Telmisartan 40 mg + Metoprolol 25 mg + Clonidine 10mg ## Tellzy MT25/50 (Alembic) ## I take Met-xl (Metoprolol) 25mg and Telma (Telmisartan) 25 mg tablets separately, but l want to know if both medications are available in a single combination tablet with 25mg of each active ingredient?

my blood pressure used to be 150/90 or 140/90. The doctor prescribed me Telmisartan BP 40mg & Metoprolol Succinate USP 25 mg about 3 months back. After 2 months BP came down to 120/80 but, now for the last one week I am facing severe gas problem in stomach & chest. On 17/05/2011 evening I had severe pain and consumed fruit salt (ENO), Pantoprazole+ Itopride& also (Colinol) a pain killer for stomach ache. But, they did not prove to be useful at all. Now since 20/05/2011 I am having chest & stomach pain due to gas every day although I am taking "Pantoprazole 40 mg & Domperidone IP 30 mg but, I am not getting any relief from pain. Please suggest me whether it is a side effect of Telmisartan or Metoprolol Succinate? ## In this case, it is more than likely being cause...

I am taking Listril-SM tab one in the morning and Tenoric-50 one at night. I have now been advised to take Telma-AM-H-80 one per day. I had previously tried Telma-40 and subsequently Telma-H as per Doctor's advise but it failed to maintain my blood pressure. Should the new medicine will be of any use ? ## There are differences in these medications. The original Telma only contains the active ingredient Telmisartan, the Telma-H contained that, with the addition of Hydrochlorothiazide. The Telma-AM-H combines both of those ingredients, with Amlodipine, so yes, it could give you better blood pressure control, but the only way to know is to follow your doctors instructions and try it. My Blood Sugar level is: FBS - 147 & PPBS – 248. BP - 110/80.
