I underwent Aeotic valve replacement in April 2006. After 6 months Dr. prescribed 3 tablets viz. Amalong 5mg, Ecosprin 150 mg, and Storvas 10mg. There was no problem upto 2013 December. For the past one and half years I developed Prostate condition (urine passes slowly), of course my creatinine is 1.1. Dr.says that deposits in the urine bladder may be a reason. I just want to know whether any side effect is possible because of the above medicines. I am 67 now. ## It is doubtful, such medications usually cause increased urination and, occasionally, kidney stones, according to the NIH. I have been taking storvas 10 tablets (once daily) for the past 8 days as a remedy for my high cholestrol. For the last 3 days, there is swelling and joint pain around my left ankle and right foot fingers. Since i suffer from high uric acid also, i suspected the problem to be on account of the same and got a blood test done for the same. To my surprise, my uric acid levels were below normal (2.5 against a ref of 3.5 to 7.1 for males). Is this problem possible on account of the storvas medication.

I used to take ecospirin 75 , storvas 10, starpress XL 25mg 1 tablet each per day for the last one year. Today my doctor changed the medicine and prescribe me to take ATORFIT CV 10mg & srarpress xl 25mg. l started taking atorvastatincalcium ( 10mg) almost 2 months ago when my doctor discovered that l have a plaque in my neck muscle and l was told it will reduce or dissolve this pllaque but ever since l started talking it ,l have experience alot of issues like my leg muscles just cotracting with me doing anything and this night the muscle in my forehead won't stop contracting and tbis gives me a sort of worry. ## Those can be typical side effects of this medication, additionally, some modern research has shown that taking them to lower cholesterol is not necessary, though as with most other findings, more studies need to be done. I am 44 years now I Am Taking Ecospirin 150 Mg Clotpilet 75 mg For Past 5 Years and Rosuvasatatin 10 mg from past 2 years earlier i was taking Storvastatin from 2008 When A Stent Was Set in my heart.
