Dr said i've been infected with gastro-entritis with colic. so he prescribed me with spasmomen, conaz and emetrex. but after i took the medicine as recommended, i got a very severe headache. ## This drug is in the class of antibiotics known as the Quinolone Antibiotics. One of the actions of this class of antibiotics is to cause Magnesium Depletion. This depletion of magnesium can lead to headaches as a common side effect. However, you cannot take magnesium while taking these drugs in order to alleviate the headache. You will inactivate the drug and cause it not to work. A better choice would be to contact your doctor and get onto a drug that is in a different class of antibiotics that does not cause you headaches.
