All of you out there investigating the half moon pills. Actavis makes a white round pill with a moon on one side and the #262 on the other. Be careful, these are oxymorphone 15mg. I've actually found a couple that are close, but none have 266 on them, they're all numbers like 466, 465, 205 and etc. Do you have a friend that could look at it? I know the numbers can sometimes be hard to make out on these tablets.

I have a loose small white pill with gg 254 printed on it. What is a white round pill marked and scored on one side only (1800 with a fancy V at the top)? ## Hi Naganama, I located a round white pill with a fancy V below a score line and the numbers 0031 above it. On the back side it is blank. Is there any chance that the marking could've been misinterpreted depending on the pill's condition and which way it was being held? If this did turn out to be a match then it would be identified as a 500mg acetaminophen tablet, made by Qualitest. For verification, the pill itself is reportedly 12.00 mm in size and carries a NDC of 00603-0268. An image of this pill can also be viewed by following the NDC link. does the 262 white round pill with half moon on the other side gel up when desolving in water ## @Jenny, Unless someone has experience doing this, there's really no way to know for sure without trying it first. Personally, I don't condone these types of "science experiments" if you're taking your medication illegitimately. But I know some people who aren't getting any relief at all because of the added security measures put into each tablet. If you have to continuously alter the medication to make it work better, it might even be best to ask your doctor for different prescription altogether. That's just my opinion though. Does it matter if the pill gels in water or not if you're just taking it orally anyways?
