Dietary supplement ## would like to try senn1300mg ## For anyone else seeking….this website doesn't manufacture, prescribe, nor sell any medications or products, including supplements. It is an information only website. And I am also not aware of any 1300mg Senna products that are available. 600mg is the highest that I am aware of being available for this laxative. Do I have to take senna 5 pills everyday along with the bethals ## These are over the counter products, so I don't really know how they are recommended to be taken. However, you should know that using Senna is not a healthy way to try and lose weight. It is a laxative, so long-term use can cause many problems, including your body becoming dependent on having it, which could result in constipation when you stop using it. Bethel S 30 is also a supplement product, that is claimed, but not proven to help with weight loss. To properly loose weight, you should follow a good diet and exercise regimen. I've been prescribed both by the same doctor with the expressed knowledge that they are different. I don't use this doctor any longer and would like to avoid contacting her. Both are laxatives to assist with side affects from chemotherapy and narcotic pain medication. I think you can still purchase senna supplements from nutrition stores and phsyllium husk products from Wal Mart. Senna is tough on my stomach so I only use it in low doses. I just started taking liznes 3 days ago. I am major swelled in my colon from infectious diverticulitus and ibs and infectious colitis. Its not doing nothing but spurt here &thats there. If you use the Encelax for that reason, have you ever considered trying some OTC brands such as Dulcolax or Senna-S (natural vegetable laxative tablets? I am using softovac (bowel regulator) daily night 1 spoon, are there any side effects of forming stones in pancreas etc? ## Softovac is a laxative that contains: cassia fistula 0.5 gm, fennel , ispaghula 2 gm, liquorice 0.25 gm, senna 0.75 gm WIth those ingredients, it is a supplement, rather than a medication and the side effect profiles are not studied for it. The only thing regularly reported is some abdominal cramping. However, you should know that if you use it every night for a long period of time, your body may become dependent on it and if you stop using it, you may be unable to have a bowel movement without it.
