you note that generic meds can be marked same as proprietery "other" mess. how to be sure what I have? ## Hello, Dr. Dre! How are you? I think you're misunderstanding, so I'll try to clear this up for you. All prescription medications are marked, but the markings have to be unique to each manufacturer, each medication and each dosage of that medication. For instance, a round white tablet with A 101 on one side in black print, with nothing on the other is listed as being a 150mg Budeprion XL tablet, which is a time released formulation of Bupropion. Now, there are other companies that also make a 150mg time released dosage, but they cannot use the same imprint, they have to use a different one. This is done to help make sure that the medications can be identified and trac...

Found these pills outside on the sidewalk. What are they? ## These are Acetaminophen (generic Tylenol) 325mg. Manufacturer is not listed on the label. The distributor is Geri-Care Pharmaceuticals Corp,1650 - 63rd St., Brooklyn NY 11204. (GC=GeriCare) NDC is 57896-102. Inactive Ingredients: - Povidone - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato - Starch, Corn -Stearic Acid - Crospovidone - Methylparaben - Propylparaben Source: DailyMed ## I've tried looking for these for a few days now, since first seeing your post, but I am just not finding them listed anywhere. My biggest suspicion is that they are something that's available over the counter, which would explain their not being listed in any of the prescription drug databases that I checked. Does anyone else recognize these?

Yes, I take Methylphenidate 10mg, but the pharmacy gave me a generic for it and this is the first time I have used this one. The pill is light blue almost white in color, scored and has a "K" on top and a # "101" on the bottom. I can't seem to find any info on this pill. The other problem is it kind of makes me sleepy, so it has a reverse effect? Can you identify this pill for me? Thank you. ## Hi TJ, Sorry to hear about the pill making you sleepy. very large round white pill with the letters RP101 on it ## I cannot find this listed in any of our databases. Can you provide anymore information, such as what country you are in? ## Is it possible that you have confused the letter R with the letter A ? So I was in my boyfriends closet last week and I found these pills in one of his bags and the only imprint they have on them says RP 108 on one side. And the other side has nothing on it not even a line. There white and round tablet. I can’t find them anywhere online. If anyone knows or has an idea of what they are please let me know! Thank you. ## Are you sure it's 108 and not 103? The closest match I could find is RP 103 which is an OTC ultra-strength antacid; calcium carbonate 1000mg. NDC: 49035-0101 If it is RP 108 there is not listed information for such a pill.

I picked up my prescription for bupropion HCL XL and noticed the shape and imprint is different than it's ever been. It is an oblong tablet with "I" on one side and 13 on the other. There are no score lines. I'm unable to find it through any search and want to make sure it's the correct medication. Any help is appreciated. ## It's just a change in Manufacturer. I noticed the difference too today when picking up my prescription. If you go to Cipla USA's website, they have the image and description of the updated pill. Before this one, I had the round pill with A 101 printed on it, but that was manufactured by a different company. ## I have been trying to find this same pill I picked up at my pharmacy days ago.
