It's a white round pill with the imprint P 20 and a line going through the middle on one side, and it's blank on the other side. ## The 20 is an indication of the dosage. I have similar pills that are a generic brand of the anti-anxiety medication Lexapro 20ml ## Hi Kelly, I just wanted to confirm that the white round pill marked with P 20 is in fact reported to be Escitalopram oxalate (20mg) - the generic for Lexapro. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Solco Healthcare US and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 43547-0282-10. You can view a small image of it on the manufacturer's product page at: solcohealthcare.com/Escitalopram20-100.html If you look closely at the image, you can see P 20 above a score line on one side and blank on the back. Small round white pill. 236 on one side and 16 on the other ## Are you absolutely sure of the imprint? I can find nothing with that imprint in what you describe. There are 236 and 286 imprint pills but nothing with 16, IP, ip, etc. I don't believe they are from the U.S. Since the imprint doesn't match the U.S. Ones. Wish I could help more. I tried just looking at the 236 but still didn't find much. None I found were a narcotic, that's for sure, but that doesn't mean they are safe! ## Is is possible that the imprint is IG 238? If so that tablet is listed by InvaGen Pharmaceuticals as containing 5mgs of Amlodipine, which is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea...

A round white pill 28th NT on One side and a check Mark on the other side ## Hi Chuck, Does the check mark happen to look anything like a cursive or italicized "V"? I know that Qualitest (formerly Vintage Pharmaceuticals) produces products that carry this type of logo, which is what had me curious about your pill... Also, where did you get it from if you don't mind my asking? A pill's origin (whether it be from the internet, an old pharmacy script, found on the sidewalk, etc) may say a lot about its integrity and how much you can probably trust it to be anything of significance. This leads me to my next thought which if possible would be to have it analyzed by a lab as a last resort, if you felt like someone's safety might've been in jeopardy due to this unknown ...

found this on my floor and do not know what kind of pill it is. ## I can't find a listing for a pill with this marking. The reason for this is that the AZ marking is used by Astra-Zeneca Pharmaceuticals on their over the counter medications and, as such, the markings on not required to be logged like those on prescription medications. They are sold in many different stores throughout the U.S. Does anyone recognize this tablet? ## Pill with AZ 286 on it and the pill is round and white ## AZ 286 - Large, White Round Tablet Sinus Relief (Generic) Acetominophen 325 mg Guaifenesin 200 mg Phenylephrin HCL 10 mg ## Yup, that's right. The person did mean AZ 285. It is on the pills I bought at the 99 cent store. It is supposed to be exhedrin, that is, acetaminophen, caffeine, and aspirin. ## Hi Marsy, I think you might be referring to another discussion thread.. but just to confirm, the white round pill marked "AZ 285" is in fact identified as generic Excedrin, for headache relief. It contains 250 mgs of Acetaminophen + 250 mgs of Aspirin + 65 mgs of Caffeine. Apparently the name of the manufacturer/distributor is "A2Z Health", which explains the AZ logo as well. Hope this info helps!

I have a white oblong pill that just has A5 on it. I cant find info on it anywhere. Is it supposed to be oxycodone? ## There are white round Oxycodone (5mg) pills that are marked with A5, but I haven't come across an oblong one yet. For verification, the round ones are manufactured by Actavis and carry a National Drug Code of 00228-2876. You could contact Actavis directly to find out if they switched from round pills to oblong pills... Otherwise, if yours isn't from a licensed pharmacy then I can only assume that it's counterfeit, foreign, or something else altogether. Hope this helps!

I have a bunch of pills from India which were reportedly painkillers. I was told that they are oxycodone 30 milligrams but I cannot find anywhere else on the internet that verifies this. They are white, round and blank on one side with a 215 on the other. If anybody can let me know what these are for sure please do. ## Hi Bobby, Legitimate Oxycodone 30 mg tablets that are marked with "A 215" (separated by a horizontal score line) on one side and blank on the other, are blue in color, NOT white. Also the letter "A" is capitalized. For verification, the real ones are made by Actavis and carry a National Drug Code of 0228-2879. So I think it's clear what the discrepancies are in your description of how it looks. Personally I would dispose of them since they're obvio...
