Anyone know what this pill could be? ## While David's ID is correct for AZ 235, there is another over the counter pill which is round and white and DOES contain the inscription AZ 285 on it. (NDC 50066-285). It appears to be a generic form of Excedrin Migraine. My husband takes a pill that looks like glipizide 10mg, but it has nothing on it except "P with a 10" on one side. Small round white pill. 236 on one side and 16 on the other ## Are you absolutely sure of the imprint? I can find nothing with that imprint in what you describe. There are 236 and 286 imprint pills but nothing with 16, IP, ip, etc. I don't believe they are from the U.S. Since the imprint doesn't match the U.S. Ones. Wish I could help more. I tried just looking at the 236 but still didn't find much. None I found were a narcotic, that's for sure, but that doesn't mean they are safe! ## Is is possible that the imprint is IG 238? I know that Qualitest (formerly Vintage Pharmaceuticals) produces products that carry this type of logo, which is what had me curious about your pill... Also, where did you get it from if you don't mind my asking? A pill's origin (whether it be from the internet, an old pharmacy script, found on the sidewalk, etc) may say a lot about its integrity and how much you can probably trust it to be anything of significance. The reason for this is that the AZ marking is used by Astra-Zeneca Pharmaceuticals on their over the counter medications and, as such, the markings on not required to be logged like those on prescription medications. The person did mean AZ 285. It is on the pills I bought at the 99 cent store. It is supposed to be exhedrin, that is, acetaminophen, caffeine, and aspirin. ## Hi Marsy, I think you might be referring to another discussion thread.. but just to confirm, the white round pill marked "AZ 285" is in fact identified as generic Excedrin, for headache relief. It contains 250 mgs of Acetaminophen + 250 mgs of Aspirin + 65 mgs of Caffeine. Apparently the name of the manufacturer/distributor is "A2Z Health", which explains the AZ logo as well. I have a white oblong pill that just has A5 on it. I cant find info on it anywhere. Is it supposed to be oxycodone? ## There are white round Oxycodone (5mg) pills that are marked with A5, but I haven't come across an oblong one yet. For verification, the round ones are manufactured by Actavis and carry a National Drug Code of 00228-2876. You could contact Actavis directly to find out if they switched from round pills to oblong pills... Otherwise, if yours isn't from a licensed pharmacy then I can only assume that it's counterfeit, foreign, or something else altogether. Hope this helps!

I have a bunch of pills from India which were reportedly painkillers. I was told that they are oxycodone 30 milligrams but I cannot find anywhere else on the internet that verifies this. They are white, round and blank on one side with a 215 on the other.
