Hi my name is Janelle. I am 33yrs old. I have been on mmt for 13yrs in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I need a doctor to treat my pain from having ulcers. I just had surgery and i am really sick with diarrhea and vomiting. I have panic disorder with agoraphobia. I was molested by my father and my mother disowned me for having bipolar. I had a nervous meltdown and was thrown to the street. Please help me. ## I don't think it's fair that ppl get to be prescribed suboxone in the comfort of a private doctors setting and get a monthly perscription when they can sell their medication for $$$ ....but if your on methadone and have a clean urine you can't get a monthly prescription and have to report to a place everyday, standing in a long line which you are exposed in a public facility...

I have just moved to Harrisburg, PA. I found a pain management clinic who will prescribe my methadone (I have been taking Methadone for pain management for 5-6 years), however they have asked that I find another doctor. I was told by pain management clinic that I am the only patient they prescribe methadone for. Does anyone know of a doctor in the Harrisburg, PA area that prescribes methadone for pain management? ## Due to the severe addiction issues associated with it, it is not usually prescribed for pain, unless it has failed to respond to all other treatments. I am addicted to strong pain meds and I am tired of having to come off of them, the withdrawal is awful. I went to a urgent care doc and was prescribed suboxone. I take anxiety meds too but he wants me to stop. I really need the anxiety meds but he wants me off them. How do I get him to change it from suboxone to methadone so I can take my anxiety meds? ## Legally, he can't. I just moved to Idaho from California. I am on methadone for degenerative disc disease. And have been on it for 8years. A pain team with Kaiser Permanente put me on it.. well this was an unexpected move. . I got on Idaho medicaid and they assigned me to a health clinic(after i didn't choose one because of everything going on)well the clinic has a policy that they dont prescribe anything over the equivalent of 120Mg morphine.. they wont fill my script! I live in the Boise area... I am in Pinehurst, NC and currently seeing a back specialist. He has me on 180 Oxycodone 10/325 per month. I am addicteded to them. I wonder if I discuss it with him, could he switch me to Methadone. I am about to start going to the Methadone clinic but, the hours will conflict with my job. ## He could only prescribe them for pain, not for addiction treatment. TRhen I moved to MB and the only resouce I've been given is a methadone clinic.. I need to find a doctor to write my methadone for me. I have been on methadone for over a year. My dr got arrested, now I'm out of my meds and I don't know what to do. I'm going through withdrawal and it sucks. My primary dr will not prescribe it. I am in so much pain, I'm starting to lose my mind. ## They never should have prescribed methadone for you. Not for pain relief. That's probably why the doc got arrested. Methadone is used to get people off opiates. But now your addicted to methadone. Get off that drug. You'll be a slave to it and can't live without it. You'll wind up in a methadone clinic. If you do, detox asap.

im a carpenter in ny, I was going to a methadone clinic, but unfortunately I work from 5am-5pm daily, and that's when there open. I need an alternative way to get methadone. It was working, nothing else really works for me. Maybe someone knows a way, or dr. Im located in Hackensack nj, but work in the city. I do have back problems, I don't know if that would help?
