I found some in my Mom's old stuff too. She was not a veteran, but she did suffer severe cancer pain. So morphine makes sense. ## Hello, I'm so sorry to hear that about your mother, both my mother's parents (my grandparents) passed away from cancer so I can understand what you may be going through. I can't see that you mentioned the color or shape so I just searched for the set of numbers you listed- and I haven't found any morphine pills with that imprint. However, I have identified a white round pill with the imprint" 54 over 092 and a score on the back" as Prednisone (1 mg). The pill you have could be very similar... maybe just a different dosage? Prednisone is a synthetic corticosteroid drug that is particularly effective as an immunosuppressant, and affe... ...

Hi everybody I suffer from crohns disease and my levels of pain are off the charts sometimes, it gets real unbearable, I am taking 4mg dilaudid pills 3x a day because I can only afford to see a general doctor, at the moment I have no insurance and paying for prednisone and 6-mp is beyond expensive. My doc won't give me dillys more than 3x a day because he is scared I will get addicted but I take these pills and the pain gets even worse, what am I to do, he told me I'm at a deadend in pain management with him because that's the most he can prescribe, but when I tell him it makes the pain worse he looks at me like I'm crazy but its true it makes it worse.. Has anyone else had a problem with this? What else is there that maybe I can see if he can switch it to? I just want t... ...

Side Effects Of Prolia & Zometa Are Similar
4 Replies RSS
I'm a 59 year old female, diagnosed with Behcet's Disease and I use Prednisone for treatment for my weekly flares. The Prednisone is hard on my bones and has caused me to get osteoporosis in my hips. I had my first infusion of Zometa six days ago. I thought I was going to die from the side effects. I had 103 degree fever for five days, deep bone pain everywhere, muscle pain, flu like symptoms, migraine headache, burning eyes, pale skin, restlessness, and no appetite. Today six days later I'm still fatigued, pale, mild bone pain, mild muscle pain and no appetite. I reported these side effects to my doctor. His nurse suggested I maybe try Prolia injection in six months instead. I found this web site and was reading everything about Prolia and the side effects, they sound exact... ...

Jaw clenching from oxycontin?
1 Reply RSS
I have been prescribed oxycontin 15mg ER every 12 hours for femoral aseptic necrosis. My femur is literally dying and disintegrating inside me because of 20 years on prednisone for a congenital endocrine disorder. I'm only 25, so these past three months have been the first time I've ever really been on regular painkillers I've finally agreed to have surgery after trying everything to avoid it. In the meantime, my doctor has prescribed oxycontin to manage my pain but I'm having some weird side effects- total loss of appetite, shakes, hot flashes. It's also making me lock my jaw and clench my teeth to the point where my whole face hurts. Has anyone else experienced this side effect? And if so is there anything that can be done to mitigate it? This is the first medicati... ...

My doctor just prescribe me 100 mg of gabapentin 3 times a day. I've been taking it 2 days now and I've had no pain relief and no side affects. Should I try taking two at one time? I'm on medicaid and my Dr. Has like a bajillion patients and I can never get a hold of him. II'm always on hold for 30 minutes so I figured I'd ask here. I'm also taking 10/325 norco and 20 mg of prednisone ## Hello, Jes! How are you? I think you may be misunderstanding, this isn't actually an analgesic. Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant that has been found to help with certain types of nerve pain, due to the way it acts on brain chemicals. round peach pill one side v other side scored 50/92 ## Are you sure it doesn't say 50 93 or 50 94 instead of 50 92? If it does say v 50 92 then it is probably an older version of 20mg prednisone. This is a steroidal anti-imflammatory medication, used especially for joint imflammation and lung imflammation, among others. Side effects include ravenous hunger, insomnia, stomach pain, among others. The other possibility is that it says b 50 92. This would be naltroxone. How long to take effect?

I have a Doberman rescue that is in severe pain due to a bone lesion from a injury from abuse, although it could possible be cancer, but the specialist thinks otherwise. We put a 100 mec/hour patch on yesterday at 2:00 pm. This is his first patch, and he is still in pain 30 hrs later. It has made no difference. He will have to be put to sleep if this is not working, as this was our last hope. He weighs 72.3 lbs and we placed the patch on the shaven neck area. We put superglue around borders because they do not stick well to animals. How long does it take for a dog to feel the effects? We want to give it a chance, but do not want him to suffer . Also can he continue prednisone while on this drug? ## Have you consulted his veterinarian? I have to apologize, because we specialize in inform... ...
