Jaw clenching from oxycontin?
I have been prescribed oxycontin 15mg ER every 12 hours for femoral aseptic necrosis. My femur is literally dying and disintegrating inside me because of 20 years on prednisone for a congenital endocrine disorder. I'm only 25, so these past three months have been the first time I've ever really been on regular painkillers I've finally agreed to have surgery after trying everything to avoid it. In the meantime, my doctor has prescribed oxycontin to manage my pain but I'm having some weird side effects- total loss of appetite, shakes, hot flashes. It's also making me lock my jaw and clench my teeth to the point where my whole face hurts. Has anyone else experienced this side effect? And if so is there anything that can be done to mitigate it? This is the first medicati... ...

gabapentin 100 mg can i take 2 at once
My doctor just prescribe me 100 mg of gabapentin 3 times a day. I've been taking it 2 days now and I've had no pain relief and no side affects. Should I try taking two at one time? I'm on medicaid and my Dr. Has like a bajillion patients and I can never get a hold of him. II'm always on hold for 30 minutes so I figured I'd ask here. I'm also taking 10/325 norco and 20 mg of prednisone ## Hello, Jes! How are you? I think you may be misunderstanding, this isn't actually an analgesic. Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant that has been found to help with certain types of nerve pain, due to the way it acts on brain chemicals. So, it's not going to work in just 2 days, it will take about a month, before you know whether or not it is going to help you at the current ... ...

round peach v scored50/92
round peach pill one side v other side scored 50/92 ## Are you sure it doesn't say 50 93 or 50 94 instead of 50 92? If it does say v 50 92 then it is probably an older version of 20mg prednisone. This is a steroidal anti-imflammatory medication, used especially for joint imflammation and lung imflammation, among others. Side effects include ravenous hunger, insomnia, stomach pain, among others. The other possibility is that it says b 50 92. This would be naltroxone. A medication used to help people get off of opiates, to wean them off. ...

How long to take effect?
I have a Doberman rescue that is in severe pain due to a bone lesion from a injury from abuse, although it could possible be cancer, but the specialist thinks otherwise. We put a 100 mec/hour patch on yesterday at 2:00 pm. This is his first patch, and he is still in pain 30 hrs later. It has made no difference. He will have to be put to sleep if this is not working, as this was our last hope. He weighs 72.3 lbs and we placed the patch on the shaven neck area. We put superglue around borders because they do not stick well to animals. How long does it take for a dog to feel the effects? We want to give it a chance, but do not want him to suffer . Also can he continue prednisone while on this drug? ## Have you consulted his veterinarian? I have to apologize, because we specialize in inform... ...

ear infection drops question about Neomycin & Polymyxin B Sulfates & Hydrocortisone Otic Liquid Solution
I went to a clinic this past wednesday & had a massive ball of wax removed from my right ear & the pain in my right ear has subsided. Now my left ear feels like its full, clogged & hurts on & off since wednesday but 2 doctors in that clinic assured me there's no wax in my left ear BUT that my left middle inner ear has "supposed" fluid in it that needs to dry OUT. So I was prescribed amoxicillin 2x a day for 10 days & prednisone 40mg a day for 4 days ((to dry out my left ear, which steroid makes no sense to dry my ear out anyway??)). Well amoxicillin I am fine with but the prednisone left me with the worst acid reflux (since I'm an acid reflux sufferer), awful hives from head to toe, & was shaking horrificly like a leaf because I took prednisone fo... ...

prednesone stopping absorbtion of methadone
My doctor will not believe me. When I take prednesone then methadone, the methadone does not seem to work at all. allergy to lisinopril
I have been on Lisinopril for 6 months. I told my doctor I am allergic as I broke out in a serious rash. A dermotologist gave me Bethamensone to put on rash and I broke out in a chronic rash. A new dermotologist gave me Cephelexin and Muroprocin (both ate me alive). I then was placed on Prednisone (30 pills). I feel better but notice that I still have spots of rashes here and there. I'm looking for a new HBP medicine. I was suggested Benicar. Any help? ## After being on Lisinopril for 4 months I had enough. The coughing and sharp pain in my head no more.
