I have been going to a methadone clinic for 7 years i have m\s and it works great for my pain but its 88 miles from my house and the drive is becoming too much. Im looking for a doctor that will percribe me methadone for my pain in the state or maine. Or a pain clinuc that is methadone friendly. ## Isnt there a Clinic on Brighton Ave in Portland? Have you found a new PCP, yet? Having one that can refer you to someone would likely be the easiest way to get the help you need. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
