This pill was in my bottle of metformin from the pharmacists.i only noticed because it was just a bit smaller than the metformin. What is it? ## I actually came across a half white and half pink oblong shaped pill imprinted "E648" that is identified as Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 25 mg. You didn't mention pink being part of the color, but it's the only match that comes up under that description. Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00185-0648 I'd probably suggest taking it over to your local pharmacy to have them check it out if this doesn't sound like it fits the bill. Does anyone else recognize this tablet without the pink color?

However this medication in point of fact is also VERY commonly used as a sleep aid which you can find at any corner drug store, as well as in the same strength in Tylenol PM Sominex etc. Benadryl, or Benehist are Antihistemines for allergies.. which do as well make you drowsy... ## the pill is half pink and half white it says e648 on it ## My brother is in the Army and I found them in the pocket of his pants.
