I Would Like To Compare Prices For Reclast Infusion Since Was Charged An Exorbitant Amount At A Hospital Centerdu

What is the allowable payment by Medicare for a15 minute reclast infusion at an outpatient hospital center. My HMO was charged $7000 for the drug and paid 80% leaving a charge to me of 20%. My local pharmacy charges $1200 for a prescription so my question is why the vast difference in price. ## I don't have any information on what the Medicare allowable payment for it is, but I can explain the different in price from the pharmacy to the hospital.
