I found a purple capsule with A 185 imprinted on it in the back of my car. anti nausia ## Just wanted to know what drug class that phenigrin might be in and is it something that shows up on a screening that I would need to let some one know in advance of? ## Hi Ali, Based on my research, Phenergan, also known as Promethazine, is in the family of drugs Phenothiazines but is used medically as an antihistamine antiemetic. It treats allergy symptoms such as itching, runny nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, hives, and itchy skin rashes. From what I've read, Phenergan itself shouldn't show up on a drug test, but there is a variety of Phenergan + codeine that could. Just to be safe, I suggest letting whoever is asking know if you are taking it. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Phenergan Details I hope this info helps!
