Past Expiration Lyrica

My lyrica 50 mg has an expiration of May 2012, with it only being almost barely 3 years old is it still effective? I took some a while ago and i think it worked... i have a back disease and am in terrible pain... i also have work today... I've read it gets some ppl "high" is that true? ## Hello, Mae! How are you?
