Pain Med Dr Riverside Ca

My Dr. who I've been seeing for years is giving up his practice just like that! I am out of my pain meds. and don't know what to do.I need a Dr. or some way to get some meds. asapin my area. I live in the Riverside, Ca. area. I'm taking Norco 10/325 but will take any hydrocodone. Can anybody recommend a good Dr. that can identify with chronic pain and will give me the medication that my previous Dr. prescribed me? With a good sense of humor! I live in near Riverside, Ca. area. ## I don't live in that area, so I am afraid I am not much help finding a doctor, but there are 2 possible barriers I see with your post. There is no guarantee that any doctor will prescribe the same medication, however, when you do find one, be sure they get a complete copy of your medical records from your previous physician, so they can see what medication worked for you. The second problem is the sense of humor!! After so many years in school, most doctors seriously lack this!! Due to the need for them to be able to very the legitimacy of the prescription, most will balk at filling them for controlled substances, if the doctor doesn't practice within a certain radius of the pharmacy. Have you found a doctor in your new area, yet? I live in riverside county Ca. 92553. I recieve a rx from my pain dr. for the past 2yrs. Why won't no pharmacy fill my rx.They can call his office n his staff he will verify it.All the pharmacies keep saying it's on back order, they don't carry it,n no one will order it for me.
