Opana costs too much for the same thing that Oxymorphone does. Opana is about $500+/-, while Oxymorphone is $47. ## opana and oxymorphone are the same thing, and you can get high off it. They are avaliable in 10's ir and 20's & 50's in er. ## Opana works for me. I just picked up 130 pills for $1,000 and some change. Worth every penny. ## i took oxymorphine before is tat ifferent than hydromorpone i justcant believe the way people judge people that obviously are suffering blows me away ## if u picked up 130 of any type of opana it is well worth your money. you could sale it for more than that ## Opana ER's are available in: 10mg. 20mg. 30mg. 40mg. They do NOT come in any dosage higher then 40mg. ## I guess you're one of the people that buys, sells, and use it for ...

Pictures oxymorphone imprinted with cresent ## Hello, Shades! How are you? Those would be tablets manufactured by Actavis Pharmaceuticals. They have a gray 7.5mg ER tablet with the numbers 261 on one side, a white 15mg ER tablet with the numbers 262 on one side, a yellow 40mg tablet with the numbers 230 on one side, a tan 20mg ER tablet with the numbers 229 on one side, a pink 30mg ER tablet with the numbers 263 on one side, an orange 10mg ER tablet with the numbers 228 on one side, and a pink 5mg ER tablet with the numbers 227 on one side. Do any of these match the tablet in question? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Been on every pain pill off and on for 19 years. Insurance will not cover Oxymorphone Er. What other pain pills work the same? I was taking 20mg 2x a day. ## Hello, Kevin! How are you? I am sorry about the problem you're experiencing. Which other ones have you tried? There is a variety available, including Oxycodone, Morphine, Dilaudid, and Tramadol, so you can ask your doctor about trying other options. The FDA warns that they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

My physician recently prescribed 20mg of Oxymorphone 2X a day with 10mg Oxycodone for breakthrough pain up to 3 a day. My question is what is equivalent strength of the Oxymorphone to the Oxycodone? Dr. Made it seem like it's very strong, which initially was in first month but now 3 months later, not as much. I do have multiple pain issues, not just back pain. Still I find myself taking all 3 Oxycodone for quite a bit of breakthrough pain. Dr is acting as if I shouldn't need but 2 for in between. Any thoughts? ## Hello, Bel! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. Oxymorphone is actually twice as strong as Oxycodone, so it's a 2 to 1 ratio. 20mgs of Oxymorphone equals 10mgs of Oxycodone. However, it is normal for your doctor to want you to use the least amount po...

Sometimes the morphine 30mg doesn't last as long so I've been going going back and forth between that and the oxymorphone 10mg. I was jus wondering because. I am usually on 60mg 3x a day. So jus thought I'd see if anyone knows. ## Hello, Lovely! How are you? The dosages that you mentioned are equivalent. Each 30mgs of Morphine is equal to 10mgs of Oxymorphone. So, if you usually take 60mgs of Morphine per dose, you'd need 20mgs of the Oxymorphone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## That’s not true, oxymorphone is 10x stronger than morphine so 10mg oxymorphone or...

I have been taking oxymorphone er 2 tabs a day, 10mg each. I have 26 vicodin 7.5/325 per month for breakthrough. It's not enough. Both knees and lower back hurt. I have suggested changing to oxycodone 20mg (for breakthrough instead of vicodin) 1 or 2 a day, or raise the dose of oxymorphone to 30mg, or 1 or 2 oxymorphone ir per day, Please, please I invite anyone to make a pain regimen for me, I have to do something! Lisa12 ## Hello, Lisa! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the pain you're suffering from. However, only your doctor can make a pain management regimen for you. How long have you been taking the current dose of Oxymorphone? It could be that you've grown tolerant to it and need a dosage adjustment. Learn more Oxymorphone details here. Can oxymorphone 40mg with an imprint of G74 be broken to where I can take a quarter of the pill? They seem too strong... I told the Dr and then he gave me Ultram - no happy medium. ## No, it is not safe to cut or break this tablet, since it is a time released formulation of Oxymorphone. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Have you tried the Tramadol to see if it works for you? ## There are much lower doses of the oxymorphone. It's surprising your doctor started you on the highest dose. I'd try maybe the 20mg. That's if you are still looking for that medium.

So I've been in pain management for 10 plus yrs. I never liked the morphine sulfate ER except for the 100mg pills witch are nearly impossible to get prescribed. They worked great. I've usually been on Oxycontin 30mg or 20's. Although I've found the 60's and 80's work best. And about 4-5 yrs ago I got started on Oxymorphone 30mg. The ones made by Actavis were by far the best thing out there. Then they stopped making them and the only generic made is by Global. Now these 30mg are not bad at all, and are by far the best thing out there as of now. But my doc made it his business to drop me down to the 20mg, and when I say these are garbage, they are garbage. It takes 3-4 20mg to get the effect of one 30mg. I've mentioned something to my doc at least 3 different t...

has anyone heard of opana 20 half moons cuz they cum str8 from pharm but they aint no where to be found on here ## Hello, Tina! How are you? Yes, the tablets with that logo and the number 229 on them contain 20mgs of Oxymorphone in an extended release formulation, it's a generic for Opana ER. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Opana ER details here. Is there anything else I can help with? Are there any other questions or concerns? ## The ACTIVIS 20MG Opana's are the BEST N STRONGEST OUT THERE THEY BLOW AWAY THE G73 20MG ones!!! Show pictures of Oxymorphone imprinted with cresent on one side of tablet & numbers on reverse ## I just got my prescription filled. I get both oxymorphone er 20 mg and oxymorphone er 40 mg. This is what they look like. As you can see they have more binder than an equivalent global pharma er 20 mg. I placed a global pharma er 40 on the other size for a reference. I have not taken one yet but have been very happy with global pharmaceutical. I don't see how anyone could benefit from having more inert powder. ## The crescent logo is used by Actavis Pharmaceuticals, and they use it on several different doses of Oxymorphone, as well as on some other medications. Can ms contin 100mg be taken with opana er 20mg? ## Well MS Contin contains the active ingredient Morphine. Opana ER contains Oxymorphone. The Oxymorphine is much more powerful and only requires a fraction of the dose that was being taken of the Morphine. Both are time released. They also share the same side effect profiles: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Read more: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I was on Opana about 8 years ago but it was at a time that I was still working. After a few days of taking it I started to get dizzy, sleepy and my computer monitor appeared wavy. I couldn't work like that so I asked to have my old meds back. Can anyone tell me if they have had both at the same every day?Opana er 20mg and opana10mg working together? DOES anyone out there take this meds and how it makes you feel or what should I look for ? HELP PLZ !! ## Opana contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone, a potent narcotic pain reliever. I have never used this one, but have used several narcotics when I was on pain management, so I can provide you with some information. If you are dealing with severe or chronic pain, narcotics are often prescribed this was to try to help you get better pain control. The ER is a time release formulation that is meant to help give you hours of pain relief, by being slowly released in the body. The one without the ER is a regular release, meant to start working within 15 to 20 minutes, after you t...

I need a list of pharmacies in kpt,tn that carries generic opana er in 10mg and 15mg ## I used to be able to obtain Percocet 10/325 now my local drug stores carry Oxycodone which they say is exactly the same formula as the Percocet. I know the drug stores pay less for this substitute but the pills do not seem to work the same for my back pain. I live in Sonoma county and if any one knows a pharmacy that dispenses Percocet I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks. ## Anyone know a pharmacy around Knoxville, tn that carries oxymorphone 5 mg.? ## Have you tried red bali kratom? It works wonders & it's for pain. Google it & Pinterest also has much information on it.

I'm taking oxymorphone 20mg ER. I used to take the 30's which worked wonders. Now my msil in pharmacy is not filling for this anymore. So my question is what new opioids are equivalent to my oxymorphone? Exalgo, Morphabond, Methadone, Fentanyl, Demerol, Nucynta or Fentanyl? Anyone taking any of these I'd like your opinion. I really don't want to change meds but..... ## There really is no best opioid that anyone can recommend, since it can vary from person to person. We are all different, so what works well for someone else may not work at all for you, and vice-versa. Most opioids carry the risk of being habit forming, and causing side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and constipation. Fentanyl is the strongest you can get for use outside of a monitored healt...

So I just got switched from oxymorphone 30mg ER to the MS CONTIN 30 30MG AND 30 60MG ER'S a month. I tried to get my doc to just write me 40 100mg MS CONTIN but he did not do that. Everybody knows that different mg's act differently like when I took 56 of the 20mg oxymorphone era. They sucked so bad not even 3 20's equaled one 30mg oxymorphone. So knowing from past experience I tried the 100mg MS CONTIN about 5yrs ago from a friend and they worked GREAT exactly the perfect mg I needed but knew I would never be able to get my doc to write that high of a mg. And I was right 5yrs later I still can't get it. I tried explaining it to him but he wasn't having it. So my question is what manufacturer is the best for the 60's and 30's? N yes I know EVERYONE is differe...

Is it just me or is all the pain management docs trying to cut everyone down or back!!?? When I went to my last visit the doc had the nerve to ask me if I still needed my Oxymorphone 20mg ER (56). I was like YEAH, what do you think?! This is after they closed down for 3 months and I had to switch to Subutex to not get sick. And I got dropped from the 30mg oxymorphone. And by the way the 20'mgs are garbage. Then my doc asked me to get an MRI on my lower back, which I did the month prior. It just goes to show what a dumb ass he is and how they're so not in tune to what is going on! All they want to do is lower and lower your meds. Has anyone else had their doc try and taper them down or try and lower your stuff? By the way, I'm in south FL. ## Yes,I live on the east coast and ...

I have a prescription for 20mg Opana ERs, and strongly desire to get the newer "generic" version. The "G 73" tablets work better for me, and are more inexpensive. My doctor has checked the product selection permitted box at the bottom of the actual prescription, which I thought meant that a generic version is allowed, but am still having problems. I have a friend that told me that the prescription must read "oxymorphone", and not "opana" in order to get the generic version. Is this true?!? ## Come to think of it, depending on the wording, I think by having your doctor checking that box, it's actually telling them not to give you a generic. I'd suggest asking at your pharmacy, because I know in the state I live in, there are a couple of different w...
