Oxycontin Refill Early

What are the refill guidelines for oxycontin? Can they be filled one or two days early? ## It really depends on your pharmacy, it can be filled a day, or two early, technically, but some pharmacies won't do so, thus it is best to ask them the next time you are in to pick up a medication. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help? ## Tamra, I was under the impression that cds II like OxyContin where not refillable. If you mean a new "written hard copy" most pharmacies will give you a problem unless it's the day the previous rx was scheduled to be complete. I am getting this other generic oxycodone 10 mg, smaller pill and no line , it doesn't seem to work as well, anyone experience or no why and if my state isn't using PMP - can I pay cash and get my refill early - I am going out of town, I will soon have a new insurance and dr. no contracts or anything to break. I've been prescribed a large dose of OxyContin, 360 mgs. per day, + 180 mgs. of Roxycodone per day. Both have been upped over three years for several problems related to my bones, and now cancer. I get terrified that I'll lose them and if I do, will the Drs. replace them? If not, what would be prescribed to get me through the withdrawals? I have heard withdrawals are horrendous and can't imagine going through that on top of cancer and my other issues. I've asked and have been told to just NEVER lose or misplace them. The rules and regulations of the pain management clinic I go to state over and over that they do not replace lost or stolen medications and do not refill early. What does someone do if it does happen? I live in CT. ## If your meds are stolen call the cops an...
