Could never keep them on.Now i hear of a fentanal pill newly approved.I think this would be a lot better for me. Ant thoughts on this dillema I have??? ## Have you tried the Fentenal lollypops? (suckers?) ## The new tablets are sold under the trade name Fentora and they are available in several dosages, up to 800mcgs. The lollipop formulation that Kat mentioned is called Actiq. Fentanyl Patch 100mg
hi i have been on these patches for 4 months now but i still have pain ## Have you consulted your doctor? Do you have any medications for breakthrough pain? Usually, for proper pain management, something long acting like the Fentanyl is used and then some that works immediately, or a regular release medication, is also given for those times the pain is too much for the long acting medication to completely control. ## I am on 25mcgs of fentynal patches every 72 hours, plus 10/325 pecocet 1 every 4-6 hours for BT pain. The Percocet doesn't do much, and is very similar to my previous prescription of Norco and the patch isn't strong enough and runs out after 48 hours. I am going to ask for 48 hours, and 50mcgs on the patch, and switching to oxycontin for B.T. pain.Hows that sound to ... ...

What is the best replacement for oxycontin.High dose long time user for chronic pain. It seems like nothing else works as well.
I was on the Oxycontin 80mg.3xaday for 16 yrs. I have been tried on alot of other things . I went on methadone w/2 40mg of oxy then they quit making the methadone that iI took. None of the kadian or other things in that class have worked. I am now taking ms contin 100mg. a day w/15 mg.2x a day it is not enough and my Dr. who gave me a hard time off and on about the oxy's now refuses to do the irs that are still available with any other meds. I've took the opana and at the time it seemed fine but pricey that has beeen a couple of years ago just to see. They have a cap I did not take the er's though. My Dr. is funny about writing large numbers of meds. This ms contin could work but he will not for instance give 60 more mgs. He would rater write 200mgs.3x a day because of amts.... ...

morphine 100mg er vs Lower Cost Alternative
I am a cronic pain patient. I have been taking Morphine ER 100mg for about 2 years. The price on my pills just doubles at my local pharmacy, My Dr is very open to recommendations, Can anyone recommend an alternative drug with the same pain killing potency with a lower cost. He had prescribed my Oxycontin, but the price at the pharmave was going to be about $700 per month out of pocket for me. The Morphine ER 100MG (qty 90, 3 per day) had been costing me $97 with my drug discount card, today when my wife refilled, they charged $190. When I called about it they said that the retail price of the pills had gone up. ## I have run into the same problem this month. My insurance will only pay for Morphine immediate release, and nothing else. If you find anything that might help both of us, I wo... ...

Oxy Help
I'm currently taking 100mg of oxycodoe a day (20mg via percocet and 80mg via oxycontin) as well as 200mg daily of tramadol. I'm taking these as prescribed for chronic pain. My concern is, that after almost 2 years of being on these pain meds with the dosage increasing as my tolerance builds over time, if the Dr's are able to fix what is causing my pain, are there meds that will help ween me off the oxy? I'm terrified of the withdrawls. My second concern is, if they can't fix what is wrong, are there alternative meds for the pain? I can't imagine increasing the doses forever. Any advice would be appreciated. ## Yes, if they can fix the problem that is causing your pain, the medications can be slowly tapered to minimize the withdrawal effects, or your doctors may w... ...

what do i do. PAIN HELP
What Oxycotin mg is Equal To 100mg Morphine Er ## The Oxycodone in the Oxycontin is actually one and half times stronger than the Morphine, so you would require a lower dosage of it, thus the conversion would be 66.67mgs of Oxycontin. They are both narcotics, so they share a similar side effect profile, which may include: nausea, dizziness, constipation and dry mouth. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with? ...

best substitute for mscontin
I have been on 100mg MS Contin 2X day for close to 10 years. What would be the best substitute and what MG. ## The most likely one to switch to would Oxycontin, it's over one and a half times stronger than Morphine. So, to equal each 100mgs dose of MS Contin, you'd need about 67mgs of Oxycontin. That's not available as an actual dosage, so your doctor would need to adjust accordingly, either a few milligrams higher or lower, depending on your tolerance. Learn more Oxycontin details here. What others have you tried? ...

PLEASE HELP. Yellow or peach coloured, round pill. Imprints 100 on one side and 4 symbols or logo on the other.
I was told it was Oxycontin SR 100mg, but it difffers in features from other Canadian pharmacy oxycontin. One side has 100 imprinted. However, instead of the CDN imprint, there are symbols or a logo on the other side. Looks a bit like a smiley face, but that depends on how you rotate the pill. Please see images below: ## The symbol on the back side of the pill appears to be a P, standing for the manufacturer Pharmascience. Here is an image from their site: If you visit their online product catalog at and then click on the letter T to view those medications, it is listed as Topiramate 100 mg. So it is not an Oxycodone. This is an anticonvulsant drug used to treat epilepsy in children and adults. It is sometimes used as an antidepressant. For more information about this drug please see:... ...

pill with abc on it 100
small blue with ABC and 100 on other side ## Found a stash of these in little bothers shoe ABC 100 round Bluish pill/ What is it? ## oxycontin 100mg is what you found. they are probably the strongest pain killer made and are highly addictive and very dangerous. ## Actually, a tablet with the marking of ABG 100 that matches this description is a 100mg extended release Morphine tablet, a generic for MS Contin. It isn't quite as strong as Oxycontin, but it is still a potent narcotic analgesic, so it does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Tapering off Methadone (hard but doable)
I was on Methadone for 6 years for back surgery, switched from Vicodin, Oxycodone, Duragesic patch, Oxycontin, tried it all, it ALL sucks, I am all healed up now so time to get off the Methadone, Hardest thing I have ever done! I went from 70-100mg a day now down to 1mg and change. Everyone I heard from said to TAPER! I guess it's been 4 months now, I still have to work and function (somewhat normal) But I hit a few brick walls, like at 30, then 10, then 5, can go up a tad to feel better then come back down, just keep heading DOWN and you will get through it, no one has ever died from Methadone withdraw just remember that, I have no idea whats going to happen when i jump off in another week but it wont kill me :) ...

How Much Is Too much Oxycodone For A Male At Weight Of 225 Lbs
I would like to know what would cause an overdose in a male who is 225 lbs. in weight using oxycodone. I have over 220 5 mg. tabs. ## Please correct me if I am wrong, but to my knowledge, Oxycodone doses aren't usually based on weight, but rather the severity of the pain you're dealing with. I went ahead and posted the adult dosing guidelines below...As far as ODing on oxycodone, I would guess anything over a 100mg, since you can get them in doses of as high as 80mg and oxycontin at even higher doses. For initial treatment the following dosing schedule is recommended: Immediate Release (IR): 5 mg to 15 mg orally every 4 to 6 hours Controlled Release (CR): 10 mg orally every 12 hours. For maintenance treatment: Immediate Release: 10 mg to 30 mg orally every 4 hours. Doses greater... ...

So, they are the only company that makes the time released formulation of Oxycodone. Their original product was the Oxycontin OC, which has been discontinued and replaced with the new Oxycontin OP.
