My two 5 mg oxycodone was changed to one 10 mg oxycodone - a round small pink pill that does not work at all. ## What are the markings on the tablets? Have you talked to your doctor about the issue? I went to the Emergency Room last Saturday on 12/122015. I could not take the pain. I got 2 Vicodin at the Emergency Room. The doctor sent me home with 2 prescriptions. The Prescriptions were for Oxycodone. I had a reaction to it. I think they were Percocet. I became very itchy. I called the ER and told a nurse what happened. She told me to come back. I was too tired and never went back. Now it is Christmas and I wish that I did go back. Is Oxycodone the same as Percocet? I think that I had a bad reaction to Percocet about 10+ years ago. Is the nickname for U17 known also as a substitute for Percocets or is it's nickname known as substitute for Roxycet. Are there any variances ## They actually aren't nicknames, there are brand names and generic names. The brand name is a trade name given by the original manufacturer of a medication, and the generic name is the list of the actual ingredients. The generic name for Percocet is Oxycodone with APAP (Acetaminophen) and the generic name for Roxicet would just be Oxycodone, so yes, they are different. I can not find a drug store that wants to sell Oxycodone. I live in a big city. Now what? ## This might sound like a redundant question, but do you have a prescription for Oxycodone? It is a highly potent drug and is heavily regulated in its distribution. Even if you do have a prescription, I believe the doctors and names are tracked in a central system to prevent abuse of this drug since it can be highly addictive. I have Hep-C and am taking oxycodone-acetaminophen for severe knee pain. Meanwhile, my liver is getting worse. My "doctor" a P.A. says there is no oxycodone without acetaminophen. My hematologist says there is...and that I should be on it. I too used to take the Watson Marked ones, but CVS switched to these and I find these VERY VERY effective. I think that the reason some people don't like them is there body is used to the other and a lot of it maybe "brain" issues. Your brain is used to taking "Watson's" and when you change your brain is saying Ol no something different it won't work, helpppp... But rest assured your body WILL get used to them and start to work, it just takes time. There may be Mexican brand names for it, but if you're looking for Oxycodone, you'll still see that on the label, since it is the chemical name. I just moved to Hampton Roads, Virgina and am looking for a pain management doctor that will be willing to write for my meds. I have been a pain management patient for over 15 years and I take OxyContin, oxycodone and lyrica.
