Walgreens as of last week is NOT taking ANY kind of discount card or their own discount card to cover this medication. It went from $107.00 to 168.00$. What the heck is going on. I'm currently taking oxycodone 10/325 for a recent back surgery 4x a day. I see my doc tomorrow and he's going to start cutting me back slowly bc I've been on them a year. My question is, since I'm paying cash, is it cheaper to stay at the 10s and go to 3x a day, or stay at 4x a day and go down to 7.5mg? It's the same outcome of 30mg per day, I'm just trying to get the cheapest way. I've called a few pharmacies & they don't wanna give me prices over the phone. Anyone have any ideas on this? I've been scouring Google but can't seem to find anything.

Most unaffiliated pharmacies will always be cheaper in price for people without insurance. Walmart/Target/Walgreens/Costco/CVS etc are big chains and will not help ppl without insurance. Stay away from those phony Medical cards claiming to save on RX's prices, they do no good for you. They basically tell the pharmacy to charge you more than cost, and split the difference with the pharmacy, hence you pay more then necessary. On average, you can get 180 QNTY 30MG Oxy from independent pharmacies for around 100$. That is only relevant to the name brand time released product, Oxycontin.
