I was diagnosed 5 years ago with DDS and at first by back pain was minimal. After a year or so it began to get bad enough for me to see the Dr. every 3 months or so for a prescription of Oxycodone and 800mg Ibuprofen. I have since moved and my Dr I have now told me flat out he would not give me "narcotics". Why do Dr's treat us this way. I have medical records showing my valid medical issue. If anyone can recommend a pain friendly Dr who will not make me feel embarrassed to ask for help, please email me. I live in Avondale AZ ## Have you considered a pain management specialist? That would probably be your best bet to get the help you need, since many general practitioners aren't specially trained in treating pain and are reluctant to prescribe for it. One place you can c...

I need a doctor that will prescribe oxycodone 30mg in New Jersey. My doctor recently took me off of 30mg oxycodone because I tested "negative" for oxycodone because I lost my prescription that month. I was seeing him for 2 years. I have a serious back problem - 4 discs are herniated and 1 disc is GONE. Most doctors just want to refer me to a orthopedic doctor to get surgery. I DONT WANT SURGERY I am too young!! If you know of a doctor in NJ that will write oxycodone 30mg please email me {edited for privacy}. Thanks! ## Hi, Frank! I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. However, if surgery is a possible solution that would end your suffering, there is no such thing as being too young for it. It would do you far greater harm over the long term to keep taking n...

Hello, I live in Waldorf Maryland I was seeing a wonderful doctor until he passed away. I was getting 90 30mg pills until I changed it to 120 15mg. ( I know what your thinking but I didn't want to have to cut it in half when I needed less ). Because of all the crap associated with anyone taking an narcotic I'm having an extreme issue with finding another doctor. For years I saw this sweet old man and filled them in the office pharmacy I had no idea there was this much of a stigma about the pain drug and the people that take them. If anyone knows of a doctor that I could talk to that dose not give people the run around. ## HI, Gail! Sorry about the problem that you're having. Since you were seeing the same doctor for a very long time, you may not be aware of everything associ...

Hello all. I need to find a doctor in the Detroit metropolitan area who will prescribe oxycodone for my osteoarthritis. I will travel. Thanks ## Hello, Georgia! How are you? Unfortunately, there is no database of doctors that will prescribe any given medication. And if you require such a medication on a long-term basis for chronic pain, due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, you'll most likely need to see a pain management specialist. PCPs and surgeons have been severely restricted as to what they can prescribe, how much they can prescribe and how long they can prescribe it. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Need Dr to refill pain med until they can get me into pain management clinic. Live in Oklahoma ## You don't have a current doctor that's referring you to pain management? If you do, then seeing them for it would be your best bet, because they can prescribe something short-term, until you get in for a pain management appointment. The main difficulty is going to be looking for a prescription like this from a new doctor, many tend to see that as drug seeking behavior and won't want to prescribe anything right out of the gate. Does anyone else know a doctor in the area they can suggest?

I'm having a hard time finding a doctor that will prescribe oxycodone 30mg in New Jersey. I have already had 2 back surgeries as well as numerous IV's and still with no relief. I have degenerative disc disease, 3 herniated discs and one completely gone. I'm in constant pain and nothing helps. I was seeing a doctor that was prescribing 90-180 oxycodone 30mg for almost a year until one day he up and closed his practice with no notice. I'm trying to find an oxicodone doctor, where can I go with no medical records and where to fill it ## Hello, Jess! How are you? There is no such thing as an Oxycodone doctor. Technically, any doctor can prescribe it, but it is a controlled substance, so there are special regulations in place to try to keep it under tighter control. Thus, it is just not possible to walk into a doctor, without any records and walk out with a prescription for it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, getting them to refer you to someone would likely be the easiest way of finding the help you need.
