I'm wondering if porcacet, or Oxycontin, or any other pain medications might help my back pain better, and so i don't build up a tolerance to Vicodin maybe i should rotate every so often. I have a back injury related to a car accident. I am hoping that is the case. ## Yes, the Opana is twice as strong as Oxycodone. Each 5mgs of Opana would be equivalent to taking 10mgs of Oxycodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
