Hello. I am a NYC resident and I need help finding a Doctor who will prescribe me 30mg Oxy. I am a legitimate patient. I have MRI but no one will help me. i live in brooklyn terminally ill and cannot fill my prescription of oxycodone 30mg I am sick with kidney failure .. can anyone help??? ## Hi jerry, My research suggests that someone who has kidney disease or kidney failure should only be taking Oxycodone under the care of a medical doctor. Have you considered other- less harsh- methods of pain relief? I imagine that if you are experiencing kidney failure you should seek emergency medical attention, and the doctors/surgeons may be able to provide you with alternatives that could help you-not hurt you. I am not a doctor, but I personally think that If one of your organs is failing, pumping more narcotics into your body won't help your case much. As i lie in bed wanting to kill myself sweating yet freezing, every joint in my body wanting to come out of my akin, throwing up, insnia, starving yet can't eat all because I've been to over and a kid u not 70 pharmacies in the tri state area. The common bs excuse is it's in back order... Wonder why everyone is dying of H.. Im having a similar problem...and i live between brooklyn ( east ny ) and the northern bronx .... a lot of pharmacys will not order these controls so what im gonna try is the nyc hospital pharmacys see if the will help you too..also be prepared to W AIT!!! ## Another idea that has worked for some people is to check with your insurance provider, if you have prescription coverage and see if they have a preferred mail order pharmacy that you can use. I get a legitimate prescription of Oxycodone (30 mg.) 90 pills every month from my doctor. Insurance pays for it gladly. But I am new in the Bronx so pharmacies don't "know me"... Florida resident. Here in VA Beach. Im a patient in FL but cant get home now. I fell Jan 4th in NY and spent 9 nine hours in ER. I have copies. I have DDD cervical and lumbar with possible arachnoiditis. Radiculopathy both L and R legs with numbness and pain down to both feet and down both arms. i have herniated disks in my neck and had a complicated cervical epidural which left me in worse pain. Currently i take 10 mg oxycodone x4 a dai feel like it isn't working as well ,i want to be re evaluated by a dr who can manage the medication better right now im using my primary but he will leave the practice in a month and also just doesn't really understand the medication well.
