How can you tell a real 7.5/325 from a fake one? Is there any tests you or your pharmacy could do? Thank you! ## Hello, Arlene! How are you? No, the only way to be sure, if you didn't obtain it from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, would be to pay to have it lab evaluated somewhere. Are there any markings on the tablet in question? Is this a generic norco from walgreens? - white oval pill 2172 scored on back side blank ## will 2172 have the same effect as 3202? how much more friggin' detail do u want? ## @RPMJR, Yes, a white oval pill with 2172 is generic Hydrocodone Bitartrate 5mg + Acetaminophen 325mg with a National Drug Code of 0591-2172. I have been on Norco for years . I have used it in conjunction with Roxicodode with great sucess. Now that I have switched to the white version I am having serious problems controling my pain. I don't believe they just removed the dye. This white Norco has become a placebo falling far short of the results I once had. Now I am in scramble mode to find a replacement for the old yellow Norco. Walgreens has told me they have had several calls with other pain patients suffering from the new White Norco. Obviously Watson drug has altered the Norco to increase profits at the patients expense. How surprising. I will update fellow sufferers of the new bad White Norco with an alternative as soon as my Pain Clinic can finda replacement. I just got my first RX of them ' and i am having Some Unuasl ' side effects from them , I was one of the one's who got the pink 10 / 500 that got recalled because of to much acetaminophen in them , and these yellow one's are doing the same thing but worse . ## Hello, Mariaf! What is stronger 2 Tylenol 4 pills or Norco 5-325 I got shot 5x's and stabbed 3 I'm in pain like a Mayne they had me on the Tylenol 4 but they switched it to Norco 5-325 and it doesn't seem to help so this is why I'm asking I don't like taking pills but right now I need something for this pain . ## The 2 Tylenol 4 would be stronger than one Norco, although overall, the Hydrocodone is stronger, so this would not apply if you were comparing them one to one. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
