I was given a new copper IUD about four months ago after my old one was causing me pain. I'm now experiencing the same pain I was last time. I'm wondering if using Naproxen (Aleve) vaginally could help relieve inflammation better "at the source" rather than take it orally. I don't want to take it orally as I am bodybuilding and do not want to affect my gains, as NSAID medication is apt to do. ## Hello, Laura! How are you? No, you shouldn't use anything vaginally that hasn't been formulated to be used that way, because it could cause serious infections. Have you consulted your doctor?
