i found a small purple pill with 30 on one side and R P H on the other side. Is it generic MS contin??? ## I am sorry, but I can't find a listing for a tablet with this marking in any of my resources. The RPH logo is used by Ratipharm, which is a very large European generic medication manufacturer. Many of their medications are available in Canada. The only morphing listing I can find for the 30mg generic for Ms Contin has a TC 30 on it, but I am not certain if they use the same marking in other countries, or not. I will, however, keep looking. ok so i found this pill it is small round 7mm (1/4 inch) across purple and it has a logo stamp of a capital P with a background circle that does not go around the whole P but just the top part of the P with the lower extension of the P out of the circle. on the back side it sais 30 with mg printed underneath. i was told that it was morphine but i need some more solid proof ## This tablet contains 30mgs of Morphine CR, a generic for MS Contin, this is a narcotic pain reliever. Can it be cut in quarters and used with Oxicontine 30 mg ## Can swim take the purple er protection of a 30 mg MS Contin,cut it in quarters and swallow it. That's only 7.5 a quarter what's the prob. ## I'm not a doctor, but logically, it does make sense to do the math first so you know exactly what you're taking and how you're taking it (if you plan on dividing it up). In that sense, I don't see any harm being done personally. However, when it comes to extended-release medications, I wouldn't recommend tampering with them at all. I got switched from the 30 mg Morphine ER to MS Contin 30 mg. Is there any difference in these two pills? And they switched my 15 mg Morphine ER to 15mg immediate release. Is there any difference between these two pills? If they are my insurance will pay for it. Can anyone identify it? ## I think they were 30mgs, usually the 15s are blue and the 30s are purple for the ms contin extended release, I think the manufacturer is malincrockt, There are 54 262s and 54 252s so they're might be some difference. I think someone told you they were 20s - people on these forums can be rookies sometimes
