Trying to identify a pink and white capsule which I believe to be Morphine ER. ## Are there any markings on the capsule in question? If it is an extended release Morphine, it should have some markings on it to enable their identification according to U.S. FDA law. The only exception would be for medications done by a compounding pharmacy, which would not be time released. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as headache, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation, and dry mouth.

what does a morphine 30 mg look like? ## Morphine 30mg tablets and capsules come in many different colors, shapes, and sizes. I've seen the 30mg tabs in the following colors/shapes (there may be more as well): green - round brown - oblong pink - oval purple/white - capsule white - oval white - round purple - round However, if you were to know a specific imprint on a particular pill, I could narrow the details down for you by manufacturer and drug code. I found this in my sons room...his friends mother takes morphine. I need to know if I have a problem. ## I doubt that it is anything to be concerned about, since all manufactured prescription medications in the U.S. are required to have imprints to enable their identification in case of emergency. Thus, the greatest probability is that this is an over the counter product. There are quite a few generics for Benadryl, as well as several supplements that meet this description. However, there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication, but that is very unlikely. Have you tried just asking him about it? Does he have allergies and take anything for them? Does he any type of medical conditions that may occasionally require an OTC medication?

Capsule Image This is Propoxyphene 65mgs, a generic for Darvon, similar to Darvocet but without the acetaminophen. This is a very mild narcotic pain reliever that doesn't work for severe pain, nowhere near as strong or effect as Morphine. This is also a cardio-toxic agent, so they are trying to get it taken off the US market.

Cleaning out an old cabinet from a relative and found some pills from the days where it seems labeling wasn't a big thing so maybe some of you might know. First, an orange and brown capsule simply labeled "BMP 140" on each side of the capsule. Second, a red-coated tablet which either has 60, or GD (I'm not sure) with agb underneath it. Blank on the other side. I searched and 60 abg is what came up (says its morphine but the letters don't match). The next is the same type of logo (gd, 60?) with add right under it. It's grey coated as well. I have still never found out what my pink capsules labeled "pfizer 50" were, even after calling pfizer. I'm open to any clues you might offer.
