Morphgesic

Morphgesic, Amitriptyline, Gabapentin, Oramorph, Sciatica,

I have bilateral sciatica. It is caused by Stenosis of the spine, and I am in a lot of pain. I need an operation to remove it, and I have been to many hospitals in the area, but no-one wants to do it. This is because I have Ischaemic heart disease, and my heart stopped when my local hospital tried to operate. I have been on morphgesic 20mg twice a day. I think it is useless when I am have just taken it, but when it wears off I am in intense pain. I take Gabapentin (900mg 3 times daily), and Amitriptyline 75mg at night and Oramorph when the pain becomes too much to bear. What can I do? ## Since no-one seems to know what I should do, I will add a few more diseases: I have had 4 MI, 3 after CABG, and the last one was 20 years ago.
