Montelukast Sodium Levocetirizine Tablets Used For

Sir, I have been taking Montelukast Sodium and levoctrizine dihydro chloride since few months as I feel relieved from allergy which used to cause cold and caugh.Although I feel fine now and want to quit this tablet now .Please suggest me on how to quit .I feel drowsiness which is having negative effect on my work .Please help me . ## This medication is not habit forming, so you don't need to taper off of it, or anything. However, stopping abruptly may cause some rebound sinus congestion, as reported by the U.S. FDA, but that should go away within a week, or so. Drowsiness can be a normal side effect of antihistamines, sometimes it gets so severe you can't stay awake to do anything. Are you on any other medications?

I m prescribed this medicine for allergic cold & sneezing problem. Needs a solution without medicine as was not having problen on regular basis. ## Hello, Raman! How are you? As there is sudden climate change in our area i experience cold if i got up before 5am and if i stay late night...for that cause doctor prescribed me a nasal spray (Flutiflo-Fluticasone Nasal spray BP) and a tablet (LEMKA- Montelukast Sodium with Levocetirizine DiHCl Tablets from Duos Healthcare)....I do like to know the exact effect of the tablet prescribed and the cause for it

Sir/madam, my wife is 41 years of age and is suffering from a running nose & sore throat. She took 2 tablets of levocitrizine @ 1 per day. Can she use now montylukast sodium & levocitrizine HCL tablet for the next 2 days?
