I missed Wednesday pill last week and missed Saturday and Sunday so I took Sat and Wednesday pill today. Then Tuesday I'm gonna take Sundays and Mondays then Wednesday take Tuesdays and Wednesday pill so its back on the right day.. I missed three days of the blue pills (really stressful time with a lot on my mind) I was on week two and missed Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This morning (Sunday) I woke up with my period? What do I do? I'm not sure whether to just keep going or start a new pack. ## If you miss more than 2 pills, you should go ahead and start a new pack to get back on track. You will also want to use some other form of protection for about a week, since missing even one pill can increase your chances of getting pregnant. I have been on Sprintec for about a year now, and I always renew my prescription on time. However this time I did not. I just got off of the white pills yesterday, and I have no blue pills for today. When you take them all, as you should, there is usually a week where you don't take any, or take a placebo pill with no active ingredients, that triggers your body to start your menstrual cycle. Therefore, by missing 2 tablets, you have done the same thing. If so, then no, you cannot get pregnant by skipping those ones, you are still protected as long as you've taken all of the active pills as you are supposed to do. This month I skipped the white pills so I wouldn't have my period. Instead of the white pills I went right to the new pack of blue pills. The sunday the white pills would have stopped, I started to spot, it's not a full period but it is annoying and has now been going on for a little more than a week. Is this normal, how long should the bleeding last, is is okay to be taking the blue pills while on my "period"??? ## Basically, your body was expecting that one week break from hormones and it didn't get it, you continued to take the hormone tablets. Last week I started my new pack of tri sprintec. I somehow missed three pills in week one, and took two pills that Sunday (the day I realized). I am on my second pack on sprintec (generic orthocyclen). I missed my first pill of the pack and when I looked online and it said it was okay to start a pack one day late and to take the first pill and throw the missed one away and that no backup contraception was needed. So I just took my pill at the normal time the next day and took the rest of the pack as normal. I've been on sprintec for two years nowand have always been regular to the day to get my period except when had my son eight years ago. I'm now going on two cycles with no period and am worried. I forgot to take the pill at the same time for a few days. I've taken a test a week after I missed and it came back negative however with my son I had to take seven tests within three months before I got a positive result even though I was pregnant that entire time. I am taking sprintec for migraine prevention, not birth control. I typically take 3 months of active pills beck taking a week off to have a period. I missed 3 days in a row during my second pack of active pills. I tried to catch up by taking two a day, but it was too late and a full blown period started. So i stopped taking them in the hopes of letting the period run its course. It has been 5 days of (very) heavy bleeding now, with clots. I have stopped the pill for 3 days now.
