Lisinpril

Been taking 40mg. Of lisinpril and 10mg of norvas for years started getting lightheaded and dizzy so they cut my lisinpril to 20mg, kept the norvas the same, BP been good but now having bad headaches, still some lightheaded moments. Can lowering the lisinpril cause the headaches? ## Hello, Kell! How are you? Things should improve, after a few weeks, once your body gets used to the change, if the headaches don't improve, or if they get worse, you should consult your doctor, to be safe. Hello I was prescribed lisinpril for about 2 months but could not stand the dry cough. I've been off lisinprl for over 2 week but still carry this nasty cough. I have been taking Losartan for approximately one week could it be the losartan that continues to cause the dry cough? I'm totally frustrated! ## Hello, Rena! How are you? It may take about a month for the cough to stop. I have the same problem with Lisinopril and hated it for that reason and it did take about 4 weeks for the cough to completely go away. Side effects to the Losartan may include nausea, dizziness, hypotension and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is it safe to take Losartan and Lisinipril together..aslo Htz? I take Losartin and Lisinpril in the am and in the evening I take half of a Lisinipril. I am so confused! ## Hello, GrammyK! Once stabilized, the doses can be lowered or medications stopped, as needed. The FDA lists the typical side effects of these medications as including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, dehydration, stomach pain and hypotension. Has your doctor prescribed them to be taken this way? ## Is there a diuretic that doesn’t cause erectile dysfunction.
