I began taking Lipozene pills (the recommended dosage of 2 pills up to 3x a day 30 minutes before a meal). I started the. pill on 7-18-14 just 1day before my monthly cycle. Well I've been on my cycle ever since! Its now been 12 days! This is not normal! I stopped taking the pills 2 days ago. I've been experiencing a tremendous amount of blood clots. I am not pregnant, & I stand 5'3, 180, is it possible that these pills have caused these issues?? ## Hello, Jaya! How are you doing? Has the bleeding stopped, yet? Since over the counter products aren't evaluated for side effects, it is difficult to say whether or not the Lipozene may have caused this issue. How old are you? Are you on any other medications? Have you consulted your doctor? ## Ask your doctor before taking...

I have been taking Belviq for almost 3 wks now and dont feel it working like it should. I have Lipozene that i bought a gew mths ago and wonder if its safe to take both together? ## Hi Stacey, According to umm.edu's drug interaction checker, there are no interactions listed between Belviq (Lorcaserin HCl) and Lipozene (Glucomannan). Based off this info alone, it doesn't seem like there would be any issues with taking them both together. However I still think it would be wise to inform your doctor of anything else you're taking alongside whatever he/she prescribes... that way your doctor can at least have your back if anything rare/unusual does happen (god forbid). I hope this info helps!

Is there a diet pill that's safe to take while on Latuda? I really want to try Lipozene. ## Hello, Happyturtle! How are you? I'm sorry, but Lipozene is a supplement, not an actual drug, so it has not been evaluated for possible interactions and problems with medications and medical conditions. Latuda is an antipsychotic that's used to treat mental health conditions and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness, tremors and sedation. In theory, since Lipozene only contains a type of fiber that helps you to feel full, so you eat less, you should be able to take it with the Latuda, but you should double check with your doctor first. Is there anything else I can help with? ## You shouldn't take diet pills period! My mom had 6 kids, started taking diet pills after...

Before you buy something it's always good to do in-depth research on the product. I wanted to try Lipozene but then I searched for Lipozene Reviews on Google and this page showed up: rebelmouse.com/lipozene It looks like a 30 cap bottle will last you only for 5 days since you have to take 6 a day, that will be around $180 a month, not to mention it has terrible side effects.

I want to know if I can take Lipozene if I am type 2 diabetic? Also I take metformin! ## Hello, I would honestly encourage you to discuss this with your prescribing doctor before trying it. Although from what I've read, Lipozene is often believed to treat type 2 diabetes. I cannot speak to its efficacy, but I would theorize that weight loss translates to more manageable blood sugar levels. Your doctor may also be able to determine if Lipozene and Metformin interact in any way, shape or form that would present a possible risk factor. Hope you are doing well sister! ## Is it safe to take if your type 2 diabetic and taking 500 metoformin?? ## I had open heart surgery on Jan.for a valve replacement also have afib.Is it ok for me to use ## Is it good to take Lipozene with high blood pres...

I am taking both lamictal and topomax for seizures and would like to try lipozene. I have lost about 80 lbs. of weight but now I have so much flab that I need to get rid of in my mid section, lower thighs, and inner thighs. I've been excercising for the past two months now and nothing is not working. I've been weight lifting, working out on the machines, even using the treadmill and eliptical, but nothing seems to work! When I saw this commercial, I thought about it and was wondering if it would be safe? I know that it can be bought in retail stores like Walgreens so, I would try it there anyway. Liposuction is so expensive and I cannot afford that, so, this would probably be my only way out at this point unless there is another route I can take! Does anyone know if this is safe...

Ive been on protonix for a year now n was wondwering if i could take lipozene with it. Ive taken lipozene years ago with great results. ## Hello, John! How are you? Unfortunately, over the counter natural products such as Lipozene are not tested for possible interactions with prescription medications. Have you tried asking your pharmacist? They may know more. I'll do some digging around and post back, when I find information for you.

Can I take lipozene with metformin? I take four 500 mg of metformin a day. ## @Pumpkinb, According to umm.edu's drug interaction checker, there are interactions listed between the active ingredient in Lipozene (Glucomannan) and Metformin. These precautions note that 'taking Glucomannan with an anti-diabetic agent may cause blood sugar levels to drop too low'. Furthermore, taking the two together can reportedly increase your risk of certain side effects. And lastly, they also recommend contacting your doctor if you were to experience any of the following symptoms while taking these two substances: blurred vision, confusion, headaches, excessive sweating, nervousness, jitters or shakes. Having said that, it sounds to me like it would probably be a good idea to contact your doc...

I am on blood thinners right now and I need to lose weight so I would like to know if I can take Lipozene with a blood thinner? ## Lipozene is just a supplement that is claimed, but not proven to actually work for anything. The FDA does warn that is has caused nausea, heartburn, and diarrhea in some people that take it. Given that you are on blood thinners, which means you have a medical condition requiring them, I would suggest you not take anything, without checking with your medical provider. It may just be a supplement, but some of them can affect your INR. What blood thinner are you taking? ## Can I take Lipozene while I take Eliquis, a blood thinner? ## Can I take lipozene while taking eliquis? ## Eliquis twice a day.

Could you take the Lipozene if you have high blood pressure? ## My blood pressure become very high at times, is it safe for me to take lipozene , I'm kinda afraid, don't know what to do,please help. ## Can u take lipozene while taking high blood pressure medication norvasc 2.5mg ## This medication is a supplement, so it has not been approved by the FDA, nor has it been proven to actually aid in weight loss. Thus, there is no way to say if it is or is not safe with any given medical condition, or any given medication. The manufacturer, which is listed on the website as being Obesity Research Institute, states that it contains a natural fiber that absorbs water in your stomach to help you feel full faster. However, that can cause problems with some medical conditions, for instance...

I had bariatric surgery in 2016. I lost 100 pounds, but since then I've gained 20 back and still have 70 to go. Can I safely try taking Lipozene? ## Hello DeeDee, According to the NIH and the Lipozene website there are no "interactions" between having this surgery and the medication, however, due to the fact that the surgery places a band it is unwise to do anything that could stretch the stomach. Lipozene works by stretching your stomach and making you feel full, which could be dangerous with a band installed. I personally do not think this is a good idea but there are no general warnings I could find on lipozene saying you can't. I strongly recommend that you discuss this matter with your doctor prior to starting just in case. I hope this helps. Have a great day. ## I...

I take 4mg of Warfarin 5 days a week and 5mg of Warfarin 2 days a week. I take 10mg of Lisinopril once each day. I exercise daily and try to eat right, however I can't seem to lose any weight. Will there be any ill effects by taking lipozene along with my normal medications? Thank you in advance for your time, consideration and prompt attention I know you will give to this matter. ## Hello, Gin! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. Lipozene is a supplement that is claimed, but not proven to aid in weight loss. It has also not been evaluated for possible interactions with prescription medications or medical conditions, so there is a chance it may contain something that could cause blood thinning or elevated blood pressure and heart rate. Thus, I...

My grandson is getting married at the end of July and I need to lose 25 lbs. Are there any appetite suppressants that are safe to take? ## Lipozene is a dietary supplement advertised to help with weight loss. Both the wiki page and the official website state that the active ingredient is Glucomannan (considered a dietary fiber), which is extracted from the Konjac Root. Because it is not classified as a pharmaceutical drug, you can't really get a definite answer through a drug interaction checker. Their FAQ page says "Always consult a health care professional before using this or any other dietary supplements. Stomach discomfort could arise. There are no known side effects when taking Lipozene® or MetaboUP PLUS as directed." With that being said, if you are already prone...

Can lipozene and xarelto be taken together? Are the effects of xarelto and lipozene compatible? ## Hi Lynne, From what I can gather, I believe your best bet would be to consult the doctor who's prescribing you Xarelto, since Lipozene (Amorphophallus konjac) itself is an OTC supplement that has not been approved by the FDA. Source: fda.gov/iceci/enforcementactions/warningletters/ucm392761.htm The various drug interaction checkers that can be found online also do not evaluate OTC dietary supplements - They only show interactions between different prescription drugs and other OTC pharmaceuticals (which Lipozene is not). I wish I could be of more help, but information on the combination of Lipozene and pharmaceuticals is scarce, to say the least. Does anyone else here have personal expe...
