has anyone taken lexapro 10mg and Wellbutrin together? I've been on lexapro for 6mon. Love it but doesn't seem to be working. Small case of anxiety and depression are coming back. Dr just put me on Wellbutrin. Afraid to take it because of the possible side effects. had none with lexapro. Just felt better within 4 days ## Hello, Melanie! How are you? I've been taking Lexapro and Zanax for nearly ten years for extreme anxiety and depression. In march I was taken off Xanax as my local gp couldn't prescribe it anymore. Since then I don't feel lexapro is working. I can't sleep longer than 2 or 3 hours and don't leave the house. What should I do? ## Do not go off your Lexapro. Sometimes you may think something is not working until you go off of it. Then you find out the hard way (as I have) that it was doing more than you thought it was. If you are not abusing Xanax and your doctor stopped prescribing it out of personal bias, just find another doctor who will prescribe it, as long as you don't abuse it.

The pregnancy warnings for this drug also note that one should not breast-feed while taking Escitalopram, since it is excreted into human milk. Apparently, there have been two reports of infants experiencing excess somnolence, decreased feeding, and weight loss in association with breast-feeding from a Escitalopram- treated mother. Has anyone been given lexapro for a child under 12 years of age. The FDA has approved this drug for adults and children over 12 years of age. I would like some additional information from anyone who has had a child under the age of 12 use it. ## I've taken Lexapro since I was 4 years old. I've also known several people who have taken this medication and similiar antidepressants well under the age of 12. It depends on the patient's situation and what your doctor suggests is best. Most children under the age of 12 start off with a lower dosage.
