Can anyone identify this pill? ## generic for Fiorinal,Fiormor, Fiortal, Fortabs, Laniroif ===Contains=== Caffeine - 40mg Asprin - 325 mg Butalbital - 50mg =Butalbital is in a class of drugs called barbiturates that slow down your central nervous system (brain and nerve impulses) and cause relaxation. =Aspirin/ butalbital/ caffeine is used to relieve complex tension headaches, although precisely how it works is unknown. ## I have a similar capsule but the number is 1552 only. The 0527 is missing. So my question is what is missing in this capsule? I can't find any information about 1552 I have taken fiorinal, but this capsule doesn't seem as effective. ## What kind of pill is this? - its dark blue, it says LANNET...

It is a horrible medicine and does not relieve my headaches at all. I wonder if it is legal for the pharmacies to be filling my prescription for "Fiorinal with Codeinne " with Ascomp with Codeine. I had no choice but to take it since the pharmacy claims that is all they have. i used to take the Lannett brand, a capsule of blue and yellow. It was the only thing that worked.
