Is Tizanidine A Controlled Substance

People that take Tizanidine will test positive for opiates. It's considered a narcotic, because there's 1 ingredient that they use in this and its used in opiates like percocet. The reason I know? - I just got prescribed it and it is a muscle relaxer, but my doctor told me it is considered a narcotic and he gave me a urine stick to take home, so he knows I'm taking it. How long does it take zanaflex to get completely out of your system? ## How long does it take for 1mg zanaflex to leave the system for UA? I might have one on Monday. ## @Terrar , Based on my research, zanaflex (tizanidine) may take anywhere from 3 to 5 days to get completely out of your system. This isn't counting your hair follicles though, which they say can take up to 90 days.
