I have multiple pain issues due to generalized OA, neuralgia, bilateral sciatica, trigger thumbs, carpal tunnel, protruding discs, trapped nerves, compression of spinal cord at L4/5, tendenosis, fibromyalgia and chronically inflammed tendon/nerve sheaths. I just took my second dose of gabapentin 100 mgs this morning. I was also prescribed hydrocodone 10/325. Is it safe for me to take the hydrocodone if it has been eight hours ago since I took the gabapentin? I know it takes a long time for gabapentin to get out of your system and I can't be too safe when mixing medications. I'm being told by many pharmacies over the last couple of months, that they can not get the Greenstone Gabapentin. That Greenstone isn't accepting orders for it, with no reason why. Why is that? What's the problem? ## Hi Laurie, One theory is that the DEA could be involved with Greenstone's manufacturing process, limiting what they produce or ship out. But if the pharmacy is unable to give you a precise answer, this sounds to me like something that should be taken up with the manufacturer directly. I have been taking way too much gabapentin for several years now. I started taking it to help alleviate withdrawal symptoms from suboxone. Then I started taking more and more and found out that stopping gabapentin has its own terrible withdrawal. I take about twenty 600mg gabapentin pills a day. More or less depending on how much I have. When I run out the withdrawal is pretty bad but what's worse is that it lasts way too long. It takes at least the days to get through the worst of it. I could just really use some help. Is there any way to get Gabapentin in less than 100 mg pills? I have a method on weaning off from 1,200 mg a day to 100 mg total (talking to the doctor when it’s time to take 2 xs a day instead of 3 xs). ## I’m well aware that there are multiple phases during withdrawals. I'm wondering if it is safe to take 60mg morphine sulfate .er with 900 mg gabapentin, 3mg melatonin , and 50 mg vistril together. does anyone know if the morphine will react badly with the others?
