Is Flexeril An Anti Inflammatory

According to the FDA, Flexeril contains the active ingredient Cyclobenzaprine and is classified as a muscle relaxant, so it likely won't help much. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Some cold compresses and Ibuprofen, may help, if your doctor approves. Have you contacted your doctor, yet? Any time you have swelling like that, you should have it checked out.

is flexeril like tramidol? ## NO! Not even close. Tramadol is an opiate derived anti-inflammatory, they were trying to engineer a medication that would have the pain killing benefits of a narcotic, without the side effects. It didn't work and they ended up with something that is just as addictive as regular opiates. Flexeril, which is Cyclobenzaprine, is a completely different class of medication. It is a muscle relaxant.

I have a smallish white pill with M above 05 and the other side blank...Also a small orange pill with a V on one side and 2631 on the other side...dont know what they are ## The tablet with the 2631 V marking contains 5mgs of Cyclobenzaprine, the active ingredient in Flexeril, it is a muscle relaxant. How many can i take without getting my liver hurt with the acetaminophen. I hurt my back and I took one about two hours ago but my back is still killing me. Doc also gave me 600mg Motrin and something called flexiril. I'm not a pill popper so I don't know how safe taking all this stuff is. But I can hardly sit anywhere besides a hot tub without extremes pain. Seeing chiropractor next week until then all I got is the hydrocodone the Motrin and the flexiril. If I took a cyclobenzaprine 10 mg and a naproxen sodium 550mg 40 days ago will it show up in a urine test? Also, will it show up in a hair follicle test if they are checking for opiates, methamphetamines, thc, cocaine, amphetamines? ## The Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant, so it will not be detected as anything, it is not even a substance that they check for in these types of tests.
