I have been prescribed diclofenac gel and was wondering if there are any side effects. I was given this as oral nsaids are very hard on my stomach. Also, is this beneficial for a condition called Trigger finger? ## It can cause the same side effects as other NSAIDs, however, since it is topical, your body doesn't tend to absorb as much of it, so this prevents these problems for most people. It can generally help with any condition involving pain and inflammation, however, as with any drug, it doesn't work for everyone. As with any medication, the only thing you can really do is try it and see if it helps. ## If there's anything else I can help you with, please let me know. ## To Verwon, Thank you for the input.
