I am a an american living in Mexico, I have just stumbled upon, Rumoquin NF, It has given my sister her life back.. took it to my Dr who practices both natural and modern medicine... Rumoquin NF has been a dream product for my joint pain , problems aside ( weight gain , finding it ) is there a generic brand that I can find online, and where? Or better yet, the alternative product that does not cause weight gain ! ## The ingredient in it that is likely causing the weight gain is the Dexamethasone, which is a steroid class medication. Learn more Dexamethasone details here. Long term use of these can cause some pretty severe side effects in some people, so you should consult your doctor to have yourself checked out to be safe. And that is also why it isn't available in the U.S., the FDA would never approve such a medication combination….but is also most likely why it's helped so much with your joint pain. My mother and I have been using Rumoquin NF for severe pain, which we believe is arthritis. So far, it is the only medicine that alleviates the pain; however, if we don't take it every day, the pain comes back, and it is very strong. I am quite concerned about the side effects. I am taking Rumoquin NF every 2 days. I had hip pain and lower back pain from a double level fusion done in 1982. Almost all my pain has gone. This medication is amazing. I just found Rumoquin NF at Mexipharmacy. They don't seem to take credit cards, but offer other ways to buy. I've been taking Arthrotec 75 for about 14 years for arthritis all over my body. My pain seems to respond favorably to diclofenac and Arthrotec 75 contains misprostol as well, a stomach protectant. However, I ran out when last in Mexico and was sold Rumoquin NF at a farmacia. The diclofenac worked its wonders, but the additional ingredients, dexamethasone and methocarbamol, seem to potentiate the relief. Rumoquin NF is also orders of magnitude cheaper and I generally need take only one per day.
