My wife has horrible tooth pain in the upper and lower right molars. She just took two ea 200 mg ibuprofen about 1 hr ago with no relief. Can she take 1 10 mg hydrocodone/325 mg apap now? ## No, the two anti-inflammatories, Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen should not be mixed, that is too high of an amount of them and it raises the risk of bleeding and other complications. I have been taking diclofenac sod 75 mg ec tab twice a day for about a month, for arthritis in my ankle. It helps early in the day, but does not last until the next pill is due. Same with the one I take in the evening, and when I get up in the morning I can barely walk. Is it possible for these to be prescribed 3 times per day, or would the 100 mg. give me longer coverage, or ? ? ?. I'd appreciate your help. Thanks ## Have you discussed this with your doctor? Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and a higher dose won't necessarily give you a longer time of efficacy, but from what I am reading some people with Arthritis do take it up to 3 times a day, as long as they don't go over 200mgs daily.
