Why is the price of methylphenidate so expensive now? My doctor informed me that it is dirt cheap, and is generic. I was diagnosed with ADD, and was informed it was a cheap drug since I could not afford health insurance. My memory and attention is poor. My pharmacy said they were running out of generic roxy's 30mg an they will fill the rest with brand. 1 pill is marked (a 215) the other ( 54. 199). I long wondered if there the difference between brand a generic an how much of a difference was it. I have been taking lyrica for 7 weeks now for severe nerve pain. I began to gain a lot of weight immediately but because the drug is so effective at relieving my pain, I was very reluctant to come off it. I've been on 5, 30mg of Roxy's daily for about 4 to 5 years now, the problem, I am getting worried the time is going to come where I can't get them. I keep hearing stories about shortage and the price doubled, the last 2 months. These meds work for me and I am able to have a fairly normal life. I am not able to work any longer (Master Cosmetologist), which I hate, but after 2 failed back surgery's, I feel lucky, that I can at least enjoy my Grandchildren and my 3 Maltese Pups. In the US I am prescribed Xifaxan 550mg made by Salix Pharmaceuticals twice daily to prevent hepatic encephalitis (very dangerous disorder caused by liver disease). The problem is this drug costs $1,800 USD per month, which I cannot afford. However, through reputable Canadian pharmacies carry Rifaximin 550 mg made by Lupin Limited of Idia for only $130 USD per month. I started using Cvs. this past year since it's a preferred pharmacy through my insurance. At some point they said they could no longer fill my script for oxycodone; no explanation offered. I've been taking oxycodone at the same dose for four years after exhausting every means-physical therapy, trigger point injections, outpatient procedures, homeopathy, meditation, prayer (I still pray & meditate daily.) When I mentioned this to my pain management dr, he told me that in.2014, a huge quantity of. Narcotics went missing from CVS & has never been accounted for. This occurred both the New Castle Pa CVS as well as one in Florida. Again, because this community is plagued with drug addicts and criminals, those of us with legitimate health problems are paying the price.

I am in desperate need of a private doctor that prescribes methadone. I'm a single mom that works 40 hours a week serving tables. However all the money I make goes to the methadone clinic.
