please tell me what does this pill work for acid reflux thanks. ## Hello, Maxine! How are you? No, Guaifenesin is actually classified by the FDA as an expectorant that is used to treat cold symptoms. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Do you sell, or recommend pharmacies that sell, this medication? Does the SA have anything to do with sustained release? I am looking for a non-dye-non-additive medication that is only guai as medication and has as few as possible inert and stabilizer additives, but one that takes 12 hours to be depleted in bloodstream. ## This site is an information only website, they don't sell, nor prescribe/recommend any medications, they are also not affiliated with any pharmacies. In this case the SA stands for sustained action, which is the same as sustained release, or time released. As to finding one that lasts that long and has as few other ingredients as possible, have you tried asking your local pharmacist? They may be able to help you find one that meets your needs.
