can this be used for an ear infection in an adult and how often should it be given ? ## Terramicina Oftalmica (Oxytetracycline) is used to treat infections of the respiratory and urinary tracts, skin, EAR, eye and Gonorrhoea although the use of Tetracyclines for such purposes has declined in recent years due to large increases in bacterial resistance to this class of drugs. drug study of sultamicillin ## Sultamicillin is an oral form of the antibiotic combination (codrug or mutual prodrug) ampicillin/sulbactam. It contains esterified ampicillin and sulbactam. It is used in the treatment of infections where beta-lactamase-producing organisms might occur, including uncomplicated gonorrhoea, otitis media, and respiratory-tract and urinary-tract infections. Manufacturer's of Sultamicillin are located outside of the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding complete information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. The only other thing I can suggest is that you try asking your local...
