I have been gainfully employed for 20 yrs. until 2 foot & ankle surgeries...I can not recive a Medical Leave as a precursor to my employment is to walk/stand for long periods of time...Currently on Lyrica, but my prescription coverage is due to run out soon. My Dr. doesn't take Medicaid or my current insurance..ugh, I am on the verge of losing all...Stress is high as I take care of elderly mom & disabled son. I know others have it worse, but its getting pretty bad..I tried Neurontin & other pain killers, no relief & made me droggy & sick... I was put on Lyrics for chronic pain. Starting dose 50 mg at bedtime. If tolerated add 50 mg in morning. I got to the 50 x 2 per day and started getting itchy blisters on the palms of my hands. I have been on Lipitor for about a year and am experiencing muscle tenderness in legs and arms - once reading other side effects, I do have other symptoms - anyway - I want to stop ---- do I have to wean myself off the drug - I want to try diet and natural remedies before needing to do drugs - doc really did not give me a choice - 247 was total but good was very high - ## I stopped my Lipitor on Jan 13 08 because I saw it causes Joint pains and Tendenitis and Having Fibromyalgia I stopped taking it.
